You’ll love War Room! (If you like the starring “witches” that promote it…)

“For rebellion is as the sin of divination, And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD…” – Prophet Samuel to King Saul.

The witch hunt against Beth Moore (of Houston’s First Baptist Church) continues as she persists to associate with her other friend in the craft, Priscilla Shirer (of Going Beyond Ministries). Both of these women are notorious pastrixs, false prophetesses and popular bible twisters who preach heresy and practice the pagan form of contemplative/self-centered prayer.

Just slap the name ‘Jesus’ on paganism and you’ve got a new Christian movement.

Here is a resource that contrasts this pagan practice to how a Christian should pray.

(Watch more at the end of this article.)

Once again, these “mystic chicks” have exposed their love for the dark arts in the New Apostolic Reformation cult film classic, War Room.

The New Apostolic Reformation cult preach a false Jesus, false gospel and New Age metaphysical teachings and strategies in an attempt to bring heaven to earth.

The New Apostolic Reformation cult preaches a false Jesus, false gospel and New Age metaphysical teachings and strategies in an attempt to bring heaven to earth.

In the article below found on Beth Moore’s website, these apostates encourage people to use false prayer tactics and promote the slot machine god revealed in this movie. Here is part of the transcript in this video:

The truth is, prayer does work BUT only according to God’s will.

In this film, all the superstitious devil binding, claiming spiritual territory and intercessory strategising does not promote a Christian prayer life or a prayer life that honours Jesus. (Even Christian and non-Christian reviews have pointed out that this is a vending machine deity rather then Jesus.)

Instead this movie  promotes the New Age metaphysical teachings on prayer found in the New Apostolic Reformation cults. The name ‘War Room’ also promotes the NAR spiritual emphasis on spiritual warfare in high places and ground level warfare.

It’s sad when so many Christians swallow anything that has the name ‘Jesus’ slapped on it. You know these women are rebellious towards Jesus when they replace Christ being the key to our freedom and instead promote a New Age film as being the “key to freedom.”

And through various forms of communication we have received, this film is causing division in the church and in the process harming Christian relationships. Why?

Priscilla Shirer Beth Moore witch war room

By elevating the teachings of this film above the Word of God and seeming to condemn faithful Christians for not supporting this so-called ‘Christian’ film,  they forget this important teaching in the bible:

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

According to scripture, these women are apostate and must be silenced. They are hurting many people with their lies and sorcery.

From Beth Moore’s website, “The Living Proof Ministries Blog,” there is a video posted of Beth Moore and Pricilla Shirer talking about the premier of “War Room.” They give us insight how Christians should treat the movie ‘War Room’:

Beth Moore: “Listen, you guys. This – it really is an unusual movie. I was thinking today Priscilla that there’s so many movies that inspire us… I mean we can just watch and – “Yes!” I mean we were just so inspired to just go do something big.

This is different even than that because this teaches you. It arms you how to do something that has the capability because our god is able – he is upon his throne – that is able, honestly, to lead to the salvation of our families, the deliverance of all sorts of bondage in our home. This is the key to freedom. This teaches us something. It’s not just inspirational. It’s also instructional. You walk out of there and you know something. You do. You’re armed for battle and you’re ready to go.”

Priscilla Shirer: “The bottom of line of the film is: prayer works. Always has. Always will.”

Moore: It always will.

Moore: “We’ve got to support great movies with a Christian ethic and a Christian message.

Priscilla: “Because it sends Hollywood a message that we care.”

Moore: “Yes it does! It does! And this is what helps it stay in these box offices. So let’s get out there and let’s support these kinds of films. But not- I say these kinds- Yaw! I’m just gonna tell you something: you’re gonna love this movie.”

Priscilla: “Yeah!”

Moore: “It is phenomenal!”

Priscilla: “The directors did a great job. The writers- they always do- the Kendrick brother’s movies are awesome.”

Moore: “It’s just fabulous. So just go that first time with the first round of people. And then take a whole second round of them and then go see it again with somebody down the street that needs help in her home so badly that she thinks that she thinks she’s about to give up.”

Essentially, these women are simply encouraging Christians to unfairly bump up this anti-Christian film’s success to further their popularity and to spread lies about prayer under the guise of ‘Christianity’. This movie may be “inspirational” but it is inspiring and teaching people to pray the wrong way and to believe in a god foreign to scripture. Priscilla says that the moral of the story in Prayer Room is that “prayer works” even though the bible clearly proves this to be false and the god in war room to be non-existent.

So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Paul to the Corinthian Church, 2 Corinthians 12:7

Furthermore, Priscilla attempts to manipulate Christians by disabling her god’s authority under the guise of her god’s ableness. How is her god able? Able to save “our families” and bring “deliverance of all sorts of bondage in our home[s]?”

Go see the god of War Room!

  1. Reblogged this on Truth2Freedom's Blog.

  2. Hi churchwatcher,
It’s amazing (though not surprising) to me how many Christians have watched and enjoyed War Room. The continuing blurring of the lines between Christian/Biblical practices and behaviors and those of the general culture can’t be pointed out too frequently. Christians aren’t getting it. And many pastors aren’t talking about it.
    Glad to find you.
    Alec

  3. Priscilla evans shirer is another weird one. She’s the daughter of heretic Tony evans. ‘Nuff said about that!

She also did work as a motivational speaker for Zig ziglar corporation.

And she’s another looney into Centering prayer.

The reason Beth and Priscilla teamed up is because all the looneys always love to huddle together.

  4. no loonies on this forum then?
