  1. “90 seconds”.

His pathetic attempt at humour goes for an excruciating 88 seconds. He lied.

I’ve seen Beth Moore’s husband, she’s not hiding him in the attic Misery style if that’s what Abendroth thinks. His book The Sovereignty and Supremacy of King Jesus is a good read. Abendroth should stick to extolling Jesus rather than belittling people church watch style.

    • Adventures in missing the point – must be your favourite board game, Newtaste.

    • “His pathetic attempt at humour goes for an excruciating 88 seconds. He lied.”

If that’s your definition of a lie, then what about all Brian Houston’s lies?

What about Brian Houston pulling his books?

      Where is your common sense?

  2. His point that Moore’s husband should control her, using a flawed and widely discredited biblical interpretation, is not worth discussing.

    • Your views aren’t biblical, Newtaste. That’s why you can continue to support false teachers like Houston.

    • “using a flawed and widely discredited biblical interpretation, is not worth discussing.”

As if Brian Houston doesn’t have flawed biblical interpretations.

You have no common sense at all.

  3. Where’s Beth Moore’s husband? Seriously? I was willing to consider your report on Hillsong Church, but now that you’ve gone after Beth Moore’s husband, you’ve lost all credibility with me. You enjoy touting scripture to support your arguments, what scripture gives you the right to make false accusations against Beth Moore?

@Lynn S, stop pouting like a little baby girl and get real. Beth moore is a false teacher. She pushes Lectio divina and Contemplative prayer. She’s been getting youtube videos that speak against her deleted. She’s claimed extra-biblical revelations via literal visions. She’s spoken at Joel Osteen’s church.

  4. Seriously – a very good biblical question done with a touch of humour. However “play dates with God”? Not the least bit funny, if this is a claim made by Beth Moore, and it is. To her shame and her husband’s.
