Floyd partners with iHOP cult leader & false apostle/prophet Mike Bickle

For a long time we have observed false teachers and leaders in the SBC shake off their sheepskin and merge with the mainstream pack of wolves.

Ronnie Floyd, as president of the Southern Baptist Convention, is one such man who has chosen to respond to the praises of man while shunning the truth and righteousness of the Holy Spirit & God’s Word. He can hold claim to all his accomplishment but one thing remains, his inability to discern the obvious shows that his faith is both juvenile and irresponsible.

If the Spirit of God is in Floyd, why does he not show it and instead (once again) side with dangerous men such as Mike Bickle?

The New Apostolic Reformation cult preach a false Jesus, false gospel and New Age metaphysical teachings and strategies in an attempt to bring heaven to earth.

Mike Bickle is one of the head movers and shakers in the New Apostolic Reformation cult and is elevated as one of its governing Apostle and Prophet. He was head of the Kansas City Prophet (KCP) movement with Bob Jones and still remains largely unaccountable to the damage he caused. Now Bickle is head of the popular iHOP cult, preaching the damnable NAR “Gospel of the Kingdom” and peddling his own bizarre fanatical doctrines such as “Harp & Bowl,” “Bridal Paradigm,” “Manchild/New Breed” doctrines and many others. For Ronnie Floyd to endorse this speaking engagement is to endorse the extreme fanatical and highly dangerous cult teachers of the New Apostolic Reformation. While we hope Floyd reconsiders the consequences of this speaking engagement, the fact remains it appears that Floyd has used his position to  compromise the name of Christ and His Church.

When will the SBC deal with the shenanigans of this hireling disguised as a significant church leader?

Southern Baptist Convention president to speak at IHOP-KC’s “Onething” gathering?

Southern Baptist ConventionSouthern Baptist Convention President Ronnie Floyd will be speaking in December at Onething, the International House of Prayer’s annual celebration/convention. So will Francis Chan–for the second time. Onething takes place December 28-31, 2015.Catholic Matt Maher will be one of the worship leaders. The IHOP Onething Worship and Leaders page notes that Maher played at the World Meeting of Families, which marked “Pope Francis’ first visit to the U.S. this year.”Ronnie Floyd’s appearance at Onething potentially opens some Southern Baptist members to IHOP-KC influence . How many SBC members will be watching Onething online because Floyd will be speaking there? As noted in Francis Chan as IHOP-KC’s public relations agent?, Chan’s 2013 participation in Onething was a public relations bonanza for IHOP-KC.It should be stated that there are people in IHOP-KC who are saved. Those who have broad-brushed everyone in IHOP-KC as being heretics or apostates are in in error. Many of the young people who come to IHOP-KC are already Christians, and they want the hands-on experience that IHOP-KC seemingly offers.

Should we be concerned with IHOP-KC’s teachings? Yes. Should Christians accept or participate in IHOP-KC? We should not.

IHOP-KC is built on a contemplative foundation. Because of this, much deception has occurred. It is part of the New Apostolic Reformation (more on this in Part Two), and leader Mike Bickle, like many other contemplatives, is seemingly unconcerned about the profound differences between Catholic theology and that of the Bible.

This spiritual blindness makes sense, given Bickle’s enchantment with the long-dead Catholic contemplatives who helped spread this unholy meditative practice. Two of the most influential Catholic contemplatives were (are) Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross. Incredibly, Bickle states that he wants Father Thomas Dubay’s Fire Within, a book about these two mystics, to “be the manual for IHOP-KC.” (Read)

Part Two will cover IHOP-KC’s false teachings, Catholic leanings, NAR ideology, and long term contemplative influence.

  1. Reblogged this on Truth2Freedom's Blog.

  2. Everything you ever wanted to know about IHOP but were afraid to ask…

There’s also a number of online testimonies that tell stories of heartache and broken relationships. These testimonies cme from those who escasped the “fowler’s snare’ that IHOP is. Is it a cult? YOu bet!

  3. Very unfortunate; Floyd should know better.

  4. CW – there are some apparent links online, between the Australian “Generation Fire” movement (who sound very NARish on several of their websites and FB) IHOP, the Sydney House of Prayer (SHOP) and IRIS (Heidi Baker). The local Gen Fire in Brisbane has often used the GG (pastor Kaitlin’s lair) for their meetings.

They are into ‘prayer furnaces’ and a lot of their events seem similar to NAR events, with similar terminology.
They might be worth a look in, so here’s a link to the SHOP website:

And the Gen Fire website, advertising their annual bash out at Kihilla – a veritable ‘shrine ‘to the early charismatic movement in Australia:

  5. The Master Deceiver, Mike Bickle, is a marketing genius, creating “Cool, Pseudo-Intellectual” names/titles/brands for different passages of GOD’S WORD – completely misinterpreted and taken out of context to promote his own agenda!!!

The degree of mind games this sociopath utilizes has screwed up more people and families-emotionally, spiritually, mentally, behaviorally, financially, relationally, and even physically than you can ever, possibly imagine. Both Subtle and Overt, he’s a master manipulator.

Mike Bickle, Kansas City Fellowship, Metro Vineyard Fellowship, Metro Christian Fellowship, Forerunner, IHOP et al, have screwed up more good-hearted, well-intentioned, followers of Jesus and conversely, has almost NEVER produced any “new converts” (for lack of better words on my part) or Fruit. He and his cohorts are essentially a “Fruit Tree Virus,” killing and destroying good fruit and turning it into zombie followers who regurgitate whatever he says and speak his name, seek his affirmation, more often and with more reverence than Jesus!

Additionally, this lying wolf in sheep’s clothing preaches and psychologically imposes a “works-based” religion, which has no similarity to the divine intentions of the heart of our Heavenly Father.

While this may come as no surprise, there’s even a two-way mirror at the IHOP “prayer room” in Grandview, Missouri, so he and his “leaders” can privately watch the zombies to ensure they are “doing” the “works.” And the zombies know this so they behave accordingly, to please men, in hopes they’ll be affirmed, recognized and promoted to positions of leadership; so they can infect and create more zombies!

    In stark contrast, here’s TRUTH:
Matthew 6:5-6 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

For what it’s worth: I’ve been there, worked there, seen and experienced this first-hand, and barely escaped with but a twisted, distorted, confused, fragment of my faith.
