Chris Rosebrough has done a series of Fighting for the Faith programs analysing the key features of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) cult (aka Christian Taliban).
The first radio broadcast analysed the NAR false commission known as the Seven Mountain mandate teaching and their false gospel which they call The Gospel of the Kingdom.
The second broadcast exposed the NAR’s false ecclesiology and false authority, addressing their emphasis on restored Apostles and Prophets emphatically demanding the church submit to their governance.
The third broadcast exposed the NAR’s false eschatology and false theology of glory, teaching people to be in the true church and be of the elect “New Breed” to combat the “false church”.
WHAT IS THE NAR?
The New Apostolic Reformation is a cult that emerged from the New Order of the Latter Rain revival in 1948, spearheaded by a number of individuals, specifically William Marrion Branham. In the last few decades it rebranded itself as the Charismatic Renewal Movement (CRM) in the 1960s and then the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) in 1990s.

In this fourth episode, Chris Rosebrough decided to look at a major part of the NAR’s foundations: William Branham.
In this episode, Rosebrough plays a number of soundbites of popular NARismatics such as Jim Bakker, Benny Hinn, TL Osborne, Daisy Osborne, Paul Crouch, Jan Crouch, Todd Bentley and so on, all endorsing their mighty hero William Branham.
In the first hour he also reads out the American AOG document that condemned the New Order of the Latter Rain revival that Branham was involved in.
In the second hour, he reviews a frightening sermon of William Branham that exposes his anti-trinitarian roots and the struggle that he clearly had with the demonic in his lifetime, confusing what he thinks is the Holy Spirit.
We would like to point out that Branham said that he had a visitation late one night confirming his end times John the Baptist-like ministry. However, we were struck by Branham stating he had this visitation at 3am. Is this not the “Witching Hour” or the “Devils Hour”?

History shows that Branham was someone who did indeed reject the trinity. Many Charismatics would also have issue with the light manifesting itself as a spinning green fire above Branham’s head. Many so-called discerning Charismatics today would associate this manifestation as demonic since the light itself is not pure light.

I’m going to have to listen to this later. We use to have some followers of William Branham come to our church and cause all kinds of trouble.
I am a graduate of Christ for the Nation’s Institute. founded by Gordon Lindsay who was a key person in Branhams campaign. I have learned that Paul Cain also traveled with Branham. I live in the neighborhood next to IHOP KC and have been part of the charismatic movement for over 30 years since age 20 shortly after finding Jesus. I have just come to realize the key players in the charismatic movement amd the NAR are Matthew 24:24, false prophets and false signs and wonders in the end times deceiving the elect, being fulfilled right before our eyes.
Branham…is he also someone who deny the Trinity?

Nar people routinely use personal experiences and personal “encounters” (as though they physically saw Jesus or Angels) to trump Scripture. When they start doing that, everything they do becomes super-spiritual and everything becomes valid to them regardless of what the Bible says about it.
The New Apostolic Reformation movement must be very ill. They exalt William Branham, who was a:
1 — False prophet: “Branham proclaimed himself the angel of Revelation 3:14 and 10:7 and prophesied that by 1977 all denominations would be consumed by the World Council of Churches under the control of the Roman Catholics, that the Rapture would take place, and that the world would be destroyed. He died in 1965.”

2 — False teacher: Branham denied the Trinity as this ongoing website bearing his name still proclaims. “The church lost the revelation that the one God, Jehovah, expressed Himself in the Old Testament as the Father, manifested Himself in the Gospels in the Son, Jesus, and revealed Himself in the Book of Acts as the Holy Spirit. In reality, it is three dispensations of the same God. God above us, God with us, God in us. NOT three persons, but one glorious personage, finally and wonderfully unveiled.”

As a grad of CFNI and IHOP KC prayer warrior, Matthew 24:24 false prophets and false signs and wonders are the best descriptionfor NAR and key charismatic leaders.
