It is our belief that all ministries worldwide should have no fear of close scrutiny when it comes to having their words and their work held up to the refining light of God’s holy Word. In saying this, we read that Rene Picota claims to have heard from God and has passed on this ‘revelation’ to the church.
Galatians 1:6-10 “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
WHO IS RENE PICOTA?
When you look at the language on their ‘About’ page, it appears that Mr Picota and his wife consider themselves to be Apostles. This means they subscribe to the NAR heresy and furthering the NAR agenda.
The New Apostolic Reformation preaches a false Jesus, a false gospel and New Age metaphysical teachings and strategies in an attempt to bring heaven to earth.
We highlight in ‘bold’ phrases in the piece below so you can see the language that demonstrates that they appear to subscribe to the New Apostolic Reformation cult. Picota writes,
Rene and Amber Picota are a powerhouse couple that have an apostolic mandate from God to change the world. They both love to encourage people to step into their destiny and dream bigger dreams with God. Their passion is to raise up leaders and release them into their calling by teaching them how to tap into their divine flow and discover their true identity. Not only does Rene Picota claim to be apostolic and aligns his theology to the NAR, he is also under the category of Health and Wealth (HAW).
Prosperity heretics teach Jesus Christ is rich; that He died to make you rich and that you must tithe or sow a seed so you can be “blessed to be a blessing”.
Below you will also see that Picota promotes the HAW and also Word of Faith (WOF) heresy. Notice his HAW language:

“Every dollar you sow represents a soul we can reach together…”
Furthermore, notice his WOF theology:
“Make a prophetic declaration today and sow…”
It is without question that Rene Picota is a man whose theology needs to be carefully held up to the light of scripture. We advise that you evaluate this ministry’s theology carefully, being as discerning as the Bereans.
Acts 17:11 “Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”

According to Picota, if you are someone who keeps seeing 3:33 on their clock, it means God is ready to release his triple threat anointing (which means he is releasing “triple grace”).
However we read God’s final comment on ‘extra-biblical’ revelation here.
Hebrews 1:1-2 “In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.”
Triple Threat Anointing!
His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Ephesians 3:10-11

Waco… hard to believe people can believe this tripe.
How do you measure or quantify ” triple your increase, triple your influence, and triple the favor of God on your life”? Triple Get to witness to three times more people? God’s favour? Similar to the “tithe and you’ll be blessed” theology. Besides, tithing is not commanded or even suggested in the new dispensation. The references in Hebrews about Melchizedek and Abraham are not relevant.

Seed ministries. They are beyond heretical. This is apostasy. Using the bible to convince people to send money as a seed which will pay them back tenfold is unimaginably evil. Jesus beat the money lenders at the temple and now his words are being used for something far worse.
For the last person that commented – Jesus NEVER beat ANYONE! He didn’t physically harm anyone EVER! He turned over some tables and money went flying & He expressed righteous anger in his voice for them turning His Father’s House into a hangout for thieves. Js – how can you complain about a self-proclaimed prophet being false if you yourself distort the truth?
