- A regular contributor of Charisma news (aka NARisma news) – Michael Brown.
- The behavior of the NARisma news gag rag.
- The Donald Trump prophecy and expose why it is so blatantly false. (And why NARisma news should hang its head in shame for publishing such material.)
ISSUE 1: THE HYPOCRISY OF MICHAEL BROWN
Charisma News allowed the NARismatic leader Michael Brown to attack and discredit our name when we broke the Hillsong’s naked cowboy story.
This is a man who wants to be taken seriously, but puts his name alongside all the whackos and frauds you can find in Christendom! We previously made this claim in one of our articles to Michael Brown and this is what he wrote:
“The primary website reporting on the Hillsong, Naked Cowboy fiasco (which I’ll explain shortly) has also attacked me, writing, “One person in the NAR [New Apostolic Reformation] that ticks the box as a governing Apostle and Prophet … is Dr. Michael Brown—someone who played a significant role in the man-made NARismatic Pensacola revival, started by International NARpostle and Prophet, Yonggi Cho.””
The one who originally launched the attack was Brian Houston. It appears that Michael Brown has a tendency to ignore that something may be wrong when popular NARpostles continually expose themselves as frauds. This has happened with Hillsong on numerous occasions and Dr Brown has continually ignored the “elephant in the room”. However following Brian Houston’s line of reasoning, leaders like Michael Brown are “like an ostrich with [their] head buried firmly in the sand” if they would rather not know that something may be wrong. Ouch! And isn’t it odd that Dr Brown did not address this more biting claim against his character?
So what was his response about our claim?
“Aside, then, from stating accurately that I “played a significant role in the revival,” everything else in the paragraph was patently false. So much for accurate reporting and for being a “watchdog” for the church.”
And that’s it. He takes a swipe, claiming what we said was “patently false,” blows a derisive raspberry in our direction like a two-year old, not clarifying or correcting any information that we supposedly got wrong.
Seriously folks, how can Michael Brown be taken seriously?
But where does Dr Michael Brown publish his opinion pieces – in gag rags. And one he often writes in, is Charisma News.
And this is where we go next.
ISSUE 2: THE UNBIBLICAL & UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR OF NARISMA NEWS
It’s interesting that Dr Michael Brown has an issue with us, considering who it is he writes for. The problem with the leaders of the New Apostolic Reformation is that we are dealing with totalitarian fools – and that is the type of person Dr Michael Brown sides with: fools.
The EIC turns Christian rags into gag rags (immoral trash/gossip rags).
The ignorance governing the NARismatic movement, and its offshoot organisations like Charisma News, is astonishing. If they showed any sign of Christian maturity and depth, they would do their best to demonstrate the Spirit of Truth in them, which governs the life of a Christian believer. However, they reveal time and again that they are not even on the milk of the Word – and appear to have not understood or not been given “the elementary truths of God’s Word”.
“We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews 5:14
Recently, Charisma News promoted the prophetic” bovine scatology” of retired firefighter Mark Taylor. While these articles are classified as ‘Opinion’ on Charisma News, they are not presented as opinion but as “Thus sayeth the Lord” prophecies. So what game is Charisma News playing?
Do they:
- hate God that much that they reduce his prophetic voice to a mere human opinion?
- hate people so much that they will deceive people into thinking they are hearing opinions but forcing them to obey this divine militant regime put forth and the ‘TruNews’ presentation below?
But apparently that’s ok, as it seems Michael Brown has no problem siding with a bunch of fools at the expense of truth. As long as he discredits our reporting and dismisses us a watchdog for the church, his reputation continues to look good with Charisma News.
ISSUE 3: THE FALSE PROPHECY REFUTED
This year, NARpostles and Prophets have been trying to either bully, rally or reason with Christians to support Donald Trump (C. Peter Wagner, Rick Joyner – just to name a few). Taylor Berglund and ‘The Charisma News Staff’ were also doing this and published the following articles on their site, pertaining to a 2011 Prophecy supposedly about Donald Trump being elected in 2016:

The end result of false prophecy can lead to disillusionment often causing people to leave the faith or be open to abuse by others. Furthermore, prophecy is generally promoted to further one’s name and “ministry” at the expense of others, controlling their emotions to gain from them money, influence or support. Now this prophecy is really easy to refute (apart from the bad grammar giving it away). We want readers to focus in on this section in the 2011 Prophecy:
“The Spirit of God says, in this next election they will spend billions to keep this president in; it will be like flushing their money down the toilet.”
We hope you picked that up. Supposedly, the Spirit of God in 2011 told Mark Taylor what he was going to do “in this next election” for “such a time as this” – and that was to raise up Donald Trump.
The “next election” was in 2012. In 2012, Obama REMAINED president.
Folks. NOTHING HAPPENED.
Obama can’t remain in office for twelve years, making this prophecy simply ridiculous.
Finally, this prophecy is also false because Mark Taylor is espousing NAR revivalism rubbish and the end times “financial harvest” that only the NAR cult hold too.
The fact that Charisma News ran this story and that they openly played a segment from the Jim Bakker show where the hosts ate up Mark Taylor’s words expose just how truly gullible, undiscerning and spiritually blinded these leaders really are.
But there is another bit of confusion here.
Charisma News published their first article on the 14th of June. They allowed TruNews to have their entire show play in their article, pointing to the prophecy below. TruNews provided Mark Taylor’s 2011 prophecy.
Then it appears Charisma News published a second article on the 16th of June, allowing a video segment be played from the Jim Bakker Show. Charisma News appeared to have linked the 2011 prophecy to the Jim Bakker Show segment where Mark Taylor supposedly read out his 2011 prophecy. But what he read out on the Jim Bakker Show was not in the original prophecy. So what’s happening?
Did Mark Taylor add additional information to his 2011 prophecy? What is Mark Taylor talking about on the Jim Bakker show? When did God turn into some divine prophetic “rapper”? Did Charisma News fumble their sources on Mark Taylor’s prophecies?
Who knows – Charisma News is to blame for this absolute prophetic quackery. Don’t be afraid of Mark Taylor, Dr Brown and the frauds at TruNews or Charisma News. If these NARismatics want to believe their god will save Trump, then their god will deal with its quacks.
Here is Mark Taylor’s bogus prophecy:
The Spirit of God says, I have chosen this man, Donald Trump, for such a time as this. For as Benjamin Netanyahu is to Israel, so shall this man be to the United States of America! For I will use this man to bring honor, respect and restoration to America. America will be respected once again as the most powerful and prosperous nation on earth, (other than Israel). The dollar will be the strongest it has ever been in the history of the United States, and will once again be the currency by which all others are judged.
The Spirit of God says, the enemy will quake and shake and fear this man I have anointed. They will even quake and shake when he announces he is running for president, it will be like the shot heard across the world. The enemy will say what shall we do now? This man knows all our tricks and schemes. We have been robbing America for decades, what shall we do to stop this? The Spirit says HA! No one shall stop this that l have started! For the enemy has stolen from America for decades and it stops now! For I will use this man to reap the harvest that the United States has sown for and plunder from the enemy what he has stolen and return it 7 fold back to the United States. The enemy will say Israel, Israel, what about Israel? For Israel will be protected by America once again. The spirit says yes! America will once again stand hand and hand with Israel, and the two shall be as one. For the ties between Israel and America will be stronger than ever, and Israel will flourish like never before.
The Spirit of God says, I will protect America and Israel, for this next president will be a man of his word, when he speaks the world will listen and know that there is something greater in him than all the others before him. This man’s word is his bond and the world and America will know this and the enemy will fear this, for this man will be fearless. The Spirit says, when the financial harvest begins so shall it parallel in the spiritual for America.
The Spirit of God says, in this next election they will spend billions to keep this president in; it will be like flushing their money down the toilet. Let them waste their money, for it comes from and it is being used by evil forces at work, but they will not succeed, for this next election will be a clean sweep for the man I have chosen. They will say things about this man (the enemy), but it will not affect him, and they shall say it rolls off of him like the duck, for as the feathers of a duck protect it, so shall my feathers protect this next president. Even mainstream news media will be captivated by this man and the abilities that I have gifted him with, and they will even begin to agree with him says the Spirit of God.

Mark Taylor evidently changing his prophecy, sounds similar to Brian Houston also changing his story on various issues over time. None of these false prophets ever stick to the same version of their stories, their stories change over time. God isn’t wishy-washy like that. How can these false prophets imagine in their minds that nobody will notice, when their false stories always change so much? These liars are ridiculous!
You see Chester, these people have been given a gift and it comes from God, it’s called STRONG DELUSION you can read about it in 2 thess 2 : 9-12 if you choose to it’s entirely up to you. So, there’s no need to pray and ask God to deliver them or to open their eyes to see the error of their ways. It’s very similar to when Jesus released legion into the heard of pigs and they all ran off the cliff. I don’t see where Jesus had any remorse for that heard or the shepherds of the pigs. I cannot even begin to tell you how I’ve cried..praying..for my family. It began in 2008-God began to show me the deception. For 3 weeks..Am-Pm..praying.🙏.and so burdened for my sister & family! This article is neither for or against Trump. It is addressing the false prophecies of the NAR cult.
So I See you wrote this article back in June of this year after Mark ‘s Word’s he hear from God, so maybe you were wrong about Him. Because apparently Mark was not off like you all said back in June. Donald Trump won by a landslide in Nov. and People Are already trying to kill him. So I’m thinking Mark had it right on. I do pray that the rest of what he is saying is true as this America needs it.
Before commenting Debby – you might want to read the article first before defending something that is clearly refuted and did not come to pass.
It is clear to me that Mark heard from God and it has happened as he said. If I understand your reply to Debby, please tell what Mark prophesied was ,in your view , clearly refuted and did not come to pass.
