Langstaff was key in helping spread the New Apostolic Reformation cult from America to New Zealand and Australia. He was instrumental in starting the Temple Trust and Vision Magazine.

Someone by the name of Pastor Fred Evans uploaded a video (see below) of Alan Langstaff “preaching”. Ps. Evans provided fascinating insights into the life of Alan Langstaff.
But before we read more on Langstaff, it is interesting to note that Fred Evans is related to Andew Evans, Russell Evans and Ashley Evans:

Vision Ministries International is led by Bishop Harry & Doreen Westcott who have been in Ministry for over 50 years both as pastors for 19 years firstly within the Methodist church and then the Uniting church. Joining Vision Ministries in 1981 they have led outreaches both nationally and across the world in an itinerant capacity. For six years they conducted those great “Charismatic Conferences” in all the capital cities of Australia. Yes they were devastating I will put in my testimony as an ex student of Vision Ministries.
This college has never helped me at all I have no contact with other students from this college so cannot speak for them. One I did contact years ago after the earthquake in Christchurch just to touch base with her and her family to let them know we were okay that we weren’t harmed in that quake. She was raving on about Cindy Jacobs at the time who had been to Australia. Like her I was into that false prophetess s weell but once I knew she was of the NAR brigade I threw out her books and others I had on intercessory prayer from Dutch Sheets.
Getting back to Langstaff how these people love to big note and promote themselves I thought we were to promote Jesus not people. Jesus is supposed to increase and we are supposed to decrease.
Also Langstaff is a member of the Apostolic Round Table, co-ordinated by Dr. C. Peter Wagner of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also a member of the International Coalition of Apostles (ICA). This makes him even more dangerous.
Andrew Evans helped to shipwreck the AOG by changing their constitution by allowing the church of Rome to be welcomed as fellowchristians this was back in the 1980s when he did this the AOG quickly went down hill. He also said at a meeting we attended at Richmond AOG led by Phil HIlls that the New World Order is not to be taken seriously it was just a theory put out by conspiracy hunters. In other words he didn’t believe in the seriousness of the New World Order this was back in 1989. Any wonder he played down the New World Order because He is part of it.

I attended and graduated from Vision Bible College in 1983 with a Diploma of Ministry this was a two year course I went to College in 1982. I went to the College when the College was under the directorship of Harry Wescott as Vision Ministries and Ian Jagleman was the Principal of Vision Bible College. The College was situated at Surrey Hills right across from Central Railway Station and next door to Sydney Eye Hospital. I met Ken Chant when I attended the Lighthouse Christian Centre in Railway Square Wollongong it was under the Christian Revival Crusade Banner which was formed by Leo Harris as a breakaway from the AOG. The church has since come back under the AOG banner but with a HIllsong flavour as are all of the AOG churches in Australia they are now clones of Hillsong.
Ken Chant used to come regularly to the Lighthouse to preach and run crusades and so we often heard him speak and had him pray for us. I had him pray for me once and I was seeking to know the mind of God for His direction in my life to find out if God had plans for me all that Ken got was Job 9:10.
I never met Alan Langstaff he had already left Australia’s shores to go to America and Ken Chant followed not long after for when I went to the Bible College Ken too had left Australia and had gone to America.
I was praying about going to different Bible Colleges in 1981 when I finished University I wanted to go to Bible College I was only a young Christian at the time I got saved in 1978 and I was keen to learn all I could about God and His word. In fact I may have learnt the bible but I never got to know the God of the Bible what they taught undermined my faith in God I left that college a mess.
What happened to me proves that the Word of Faith doesn’t increase faith it destroys and weakens faith as it causes one to doubt God and His word and it puts man in the place of God which is humanism and idolatry.
As I saw Ken at our church I didn’t want to go to YWAM or to any other bible colleges so I decided to go to the one that I was familiar with and that was Ken Chant’s college. Maybe God allowed me to go to this college to find out what it is like and how it doesn’t line up with the scriptures but it is based on heresy of the Word of Faith movement.
I didn’t know all of this when I went there but I only have discovered all of these things about the Word of Faith movement and what it is like years later. Still God allowed me to go to this Bible College for a reason and at first I was doubting that I did the right thing in going now I am beginning to see that God had a plan and reason for me to go to warn others about this College and what it teaches that it is error. I have the books that we used to study Ken Chant’s teaching and I couldn’t really get into what he taught in fact I found it downright boring. In fact these books are currently in boxes in our garage and should I find them again they will be binned as they are not worth keeping they are full of error.
When I was at college they would do these tests or questions we had to complete to find out what our ministry or calling of God. As I didn’t fit into their criteria of what makes up their version of the fivefold ministry gifts I just didn’t fit in.
In fact when I first went to College my parents came up with me from Wollongong and they were very concerned that I wasn’t wasting my money joining this college. They asked the Principal if I would be guaranteed work once I finished the course. Of course he said I would find work in the church or some such thing but I never did. I graduated but I never have worked in a church or have been on a ministerial board or been part of paid church work in the years since I left college.
Yes I have helped in leading bible studies at a home group in Petersham AOG before I left there and I helped out doing some voluntary work at the Lighthouse Christian Centere before I left and went to the Fairy Meadow AOG I have just done some things in churches like everyone else but never worked in the church full time. I have worked in other jobs in the work force in my life and am now retired and do writing of articles on the computer. I have done two series of Bible teaching on Israel and Jesus as prophet, priest and king (these were my own bible studies I have written not other peoples work) at an Anglican church but was not paid for this. I have held prayer meetings in my home in Australia and New Zealand but this is what I did myself not through a church. My husband and I met with some others to pray for whatever God put on our hearts at the time for our local town and I held prayer meetings for Israel in Christchurch in New Zealand but not since moving to Rangiora in 2011.
This college is a fraud they take the money but cannot guarantee that you will be placed in a church to work. They have their favourites they groom up for use. I saw that with some of the students there. I wasn’t one of them.
In fact we had a lot of shady people teach there, Lauren Cunningham from YWAM, Phil Pringle who I didn’t like either of them, Gladwin Turner, Alan Allcock, Doug Kuhl and others I cannot remember now. We also learnt how to do contemplative prayer it was called something else at the time. I was going over old exercise books from Bible College days and when I saw entries in these books of going down into the silence and centreing prayer I just ripped those pages out and burned them on our fire. I had to ask God to forgive me for doing this stuff.
My parents were right to be concerned about me and they were not strict church goers. They teach at Vision College a false gospel, a false Jesus and false ministry.
Harry Westcott was big into Benson Idahosa, Yongi Cho he had them come over and do conferences and thank God I never went to them I didn’t go in for these two men at all. Whatever God may have done through Harry before he left Canberra got affected by his following men instead of God especially his following and wanting to be like Benson Idahosa from Africa. Word of faith teaching is such a con job it is a big fat lie it only focuses on how to get rich and how to heal but not God’s way it is witchcraft pure and simple.
Now the Word of Faith and NAR have joined hands not just to each other and Rome and they are teaching blatant witchcraft in their evil schools of the supernatural we didn’t go into that stuff at all we only learnt on how to pray in intercession but these other schools go all out into astral travel and healing and prophecy that is just not biblical. They run churches like businesses and they have at the helm men and women who are trained in business lore not people who are trained in the word of God. This cancer has impacted churches everywhere this is the apostasy that the bible speaks of for God has given them over to a strong spirit of delusion and they are tools of satan who are feverishly bringing about the kingdom of the antichrist to this earth which will be set up in Jerusalem very soon.
Getting back to their fivefold gifts test which I did and nothing I answered seemed to fit in with their criteria of being a person in the fivefold ministry. So they kept telling me they couldn’t understand why I was at college as I didn’t fit into their criteria of ministry calling and that I was like a round peg in a square hole I just didn’t fit in at all. Even the principal wanted me to leave after doing my certificate year but a fellow student talked him into allowing me to stay on.
If I hadn’t stayed on for the second year I wouldn’t have met Tony Hallo who was pastor of Petersham AOG (Petersham is an inner western suburb of Sydney ) to which church I later joined and met my future husband Graeme there when he came over to Australia from New Zealand.
So I stayed on and graduated in 1983 with a Diploma in Ministry and it is only now that God is using the knowledge of His word and the things I have learned from life to help others to warn them not to be caught up in these false ministries.
In fact when I graduated a true prophet of God who was visiting our AOG church (This was when the AOG was still okay) in Fairy Meadow a suburb of Wollongong NSW Australia told me that God was going to take me through a schoolroom of learning and to unlearn all that I have learnt.
He was right on for this is exactly what God has been doing in my life and I certainly had to unlearn all what I had been taught at this college and to learn from Him for God has been teaching me Himself personally about Israel, His Son’s soon return and to stand true to what He has shown me over the last seven years while I have been living in New Zealand.
Please read this web link then read the write up about these men, think carefully and please be in earnest prayer seek God’s face before either yourself, your sons or daughters or others you know go to or attend Bible colleges run by these men. Or attending churches, seminars or be affiliated with anything that these men are involved with or in charge of. They are false apostles have nothing to do with them flee from them and tell others to do likewise.

I tried to include a copy of my Bible College certificate from Vision Ministries but it wouldn’t copy. I did get this certificate in 1983. Though it is not really worth the cardboard it is printed on.
This is very similar to what Churchwatch has put on their web link today I found it last year it may have come from an earlier writing of Churchwatch.

Dr. Ken Chant
Dr. Ken Chant (M.R.E. Th.D), is the President of Vision Christian College (Australia) and is on the International Board of Directors for Vision International University (USA).
Dr Ken Chant is an Australian pentecostal pastor who was ordained in Melbourne in 1954. He has been actively involved in Christian ministry for over 50 years (ten of which he and his family spent in the USA). A brief summary of his ministry would include the following –
He has pioneered eight churches and Pastored several others, including serving for five years as the associate pastor of what was then Australia’s largest Pentecostal church (the Adelaide Crusade Centre).
For several years he was the editor of two of Australia’s most successful charismatic/Pentecostal journals.
He has been the principal of four Bible colleges (in Australia and the USA), has taught at Christ for the Nations (Dallas), Oral Roberts University (Tulsa), Youth With a Mission (Hawaii), and spoken at crusades, conferences, and seminars in Australia, the UK, the USA, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, and New Zealand.
Dr. Chant is the author of many of Vision’s textbooks on Christian life, Doctrine and Theology.
Dr. Stan DeKoven
Dr. Stan DeKoven (D. Min., Ph.D.), is the President of Vision International University. The headquarters are in Ramona, California in the USA. Dr. DeKoven has doctorates in psychology and theology and is the author of many of Vision’s textbooks on Christian ministry and counselling.
VCC is a product of the joint vision of these two men. In the providence of God, they first met (in 1986) in San Diego, California, where they discovered a kinship of call and purpose in the Lord, and merged their two ministries to form VCC.
The story began more than a decade earlier.
In 1974 Ken Chant started the Launceston College of Theology (in Launceston, Tasmania), and simultaneously, Joseph Bohac and Stan DeKoven (in San Diego, California) began Logos Institute, a local-church training program in practical ministry and counselling.
Four years later Dr. Chant moved his school to Sydney (Australia), while in the USA Logos Institute continued as a counselling ministry and training centre, and Dr. DeKoven pursued personal studies in psychology and theology.
More changes took place in 1982 – Dr. Chant moved to the United States, where he established his program in Minneapolis (Minnesota).
Dr. DeKoven returned to San Diego (having earned his doctorate), where he continued to expand the Logos program and in the same year, Dr. Randy Gurley (who is currently Chairman of the Board of Regents and Executive Vice-President of VIU began a teaching ministry that eventually merged with Vision.
Then in 1986 Dr. Chant brought his program to San Diego (California), where Vision Bible College was legally established as a non-profit corporation, and where two years later, in the providence of God, he met Dr. DeKoven. These two men found an immediate affinity in Christ, united their hearts and visions, and began the network of affiliated campuses that (barely a decade later) became established world-wide, with thousands of students.
Dr. Chant and his family returned to his native Australia in 1990, but prior to his leaving, Vision Bible College, under Dr. DeKoven’s direction, had expanded to its present university status.
A site was purchased in the beautiful community of Ramona, California, where its world headquarters are still based. A local campus and a counselling centre are also located at this site.
In 1992 the American College applied for and was granted full Institutional accreditation with the Accrediting Commission International of Schools, Colleges and Theological Seminaries.
In 1993 Vision Christian Ministries (USA) affiliated with St. Michael’s Baptist Church and was renamed Vision Christian Church International, and California Christian College was renamed Vision International University.
In the meantime, in Australia, the College was re-named Vision Christian College, and its program has continued to flourish under Dr. Chant’s leadership. We now have local church (Resource Centres) campuses established in many parts of Australia and New Zealand, plus several hundred students in both countries who are doing the course by correspondence.
Dr DeKoven has provided the entrepreneurial drive for the global expansion of VCC, and Dr Chant has provided much of the teaching material (especially in theology). But the educational philosophy under-girding the College, its international vision, its dynamic concepts, all stem from the work of the Holy Spirit in both men and in the team that works with them.
The Third Man, Rev. Denis Plant
Denis has enjoyed a teaching ministry for over 40 years.
moving up through the ranks of the local church he moved on to pastor and later to pioneer several churches in NSW. Denis has taught in several bible colleges in Australia and around the world and has established two Bible Colleges, one of which is now the denominational Bible College for the Foursquare Churches in Australia,.
With his wife Rosalind Denis served as a missionary in Papua New Guinea where he was the last ex-patriate Principal at Lighthouse Bible College with the Foursquare Churches at Madang.
Upon returning to Australia he arrived with a vision and determination to place a Bible College on the Internet. Although totally unfamiliar with the internet he quickly developed the skills to create the Internet Bible College. His familiarity with the Vision studies convinced him that, of all the material available the studies offered by Vision Christian College was the most suitable for this work. and has proven to have world wide appeal and so the Internet Bible College was born, it was amoung, if not the very first college on the internet to actually offer courses online.
Since that time he has taken Vision Christian College and developed the ministry to a fully accredited Bible College offerering the Christian Ministry and Theology courses, a fully vocational education program fully accredited under ASQA, australia’s accrediting body. The courses are ideally suited to the Theological, skill and knowledge base development for those who wish to enter into ministry.

Dr. Delgado is President of Texas University of Theology. He is a mentor offering support and spiritual covering to many Pastors and Leaders.Dr. Delgado and his wife Dr. Iris Delgado offer marriage and leadership conferences.
