This should remind people of Brian Houston saying Christians and Muslims worshipping the same “god.” 

We’ll give Bobbie Houston some credit. We are all indeed the same in so far as we are all sinners in need of a Savior. However, for Bobbie Houston to say we’re all “sons and daughters, created in the image of God, on a pilgrimage Home”, is to imply that Muslims, Buddhists, and people following after other gods are all brothers and sister in Christ.

Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet, not God in human flesh. They deny that He was the Messiah and that He lived in the perfect life in our place for us, died for our sins, was resurrected on the third day, and all who believe in Him for salvation and forgiveness are the only ones who will be saved.

God’s first Commandment is, “You shall have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3) That leaves no room for other deities such as Allah, Shiva, Vishnu, etc.

Jesus also says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) Only Christians are on a “pilgrimage home.” Those who don’t repent of their sins and unbelief are destined for the Lake of Fire, which is where we all deserve to go because of how wretched we all are. That’s why Christ died for our sins, so we don’t have to burn in Hell for eternity.

By posting this picture with what she wrote underneath, Bobbie Houston is deceiving people into believing that everyone, regardless of what they believe, is going to Heaven and that’s simply not true. She and her husband both need to repent of spreading lies and deceiving others about the God they claim to worship.
