In typical NARpostolic fashion, Dr Michael Brown applies Jesus’ words in John 13 to everyone else except himself:
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-5
If Dr Brown really loved Christ and His church, then he would not put up with the wickedness of the false prophets and ‘apostles’ he continues to endorse. We are talking about unregenerate teachers such as Fini & Isi De Gersigny, Benny Hinn, Bill Johnson, Lance Wallnau and the convicted David Yonggi Cho. Each one has made a name for themselves by unashamedly twisting God’s Word and blaspheming the name of Christ. How can Brown continue to say he loves Jesus and still affirm the lawless ones Christ Himself said he would personally damn to hell on the final day (Matthew 7)?
These false teachers are the ones who make a mockery of the gospel and continue to cause division in the church by peddling false doctrines and by preaching false gospels (aka the Prosperity Gospel and the NAR Gospel of the Kingdom). So if they don’t love Christ and His church, why does Dr Brown stand with them in their flagrant mockery of Christ and His Gospel? It’s these men and women who have devastated the most vulnerable in the church by financially plundering their households and spiritually damning their souls.
Michael Brown: “Let us humble ourselves before Him in repentance…”
If there is anyone who is REFUSING to be humble – it’s Michael Brown. If he wants to be considered as one who loves Jesus, he must OBEY Jesus’ clear teachings on what one must do to those that abuse God’s Word. But he doesn’t. If Brown wants to be humble, he needs to elevate Christ instead of his sinful relationships with men who have been proven again and again to despise Christ, His Word and His church.
Michael Brown: “But then look at how we attack and demean and insult and even demonize one another on social media…”
2 Thessalonians 3:2,14-15 says we are not to associate with men like Dr Brown until he repents of his trying to unite Christianity with “perverse and evil men”. Then we might actually see a united Christianity that truly does love one another. Instead, Brown demonstrates disdain towards Christians who dare question his defending these “perverse and evil men”. And when Christians began to expose his word games and devilish antics, he has repeatedly attacked, demeaned, insulted and demonized them, (particularly those on social media).

It is biblical to expose liars and frauds. This happens when Christ is preached and His Word goes out. Men like Brown consider the biblical rebukes by discerning Christians, as being an attack, even though God’s Word clearly teaches how God’s church is to deal with such men like Brown and those he continues to endorse – “purge the wicked from among you.”
Michael Brown writes,
While meditating on some verses in John’s Gospel today, I was struck with a devastating thought. The new commandment Jesus gave us was to love one another as He loved us, and He also said that the world would know that we were His disciples by the love we have for each other. But then look at how we attack and demean and insult and even demonize one another on social media — all before the eyes of the onlooking world. What a mockery we make of the gospel, and what grief we bring to the Lord’s heart. Let us humble ourselves before Him in repentance, and let us ask Him for a fresh baptism of love, both for Him and His family. Can we do better in 2017? We must!
