Jordan Hall from Pulpit & Pen recently critiqued a video Bethel pastor Ben Fitzgerald uploaded to Facebook, where Fitzgerald accuses Christians of ‘micro-judging’. Not only did Fitzgerald condemn those for calling his mother a ‘witch’ (even though by biblical definition what she practices is witchcraft), he also accuses someone of passing on information about his family’s occultic practices to discernment sites. As a result of this, his family are now threatening Christians with ‘legal action’.
The video that Jordan Hall reviewed can be seen in this article here:
Bethel pastor has a FITzgerald about his mother’s occultism being exposed.
LEGALLY THREATENING CHRISTIANS.
Holly Pivec recently wrote,
“Does Bethel know that legal action has been threatened against site owners, including myself, who have shared photos of the Christalignment cards and photos of their teams doing “readings” with the cards — despite the fact that this sharing of the photos falls under the fair use rule in copyright law?” [Source]
We were aware of this taking place very early on and would encourage people who have tried to warn the body of Christ about these charlatans, to come forward if they have had legal threats made against them.
Dave MacKenzie from the Glory Gathering site was one of those ‘legally threatened’ by the Hodges:
Dave published the threat Jen Hodge made against both he and Chris Rosebrough:
“Every photo you have used of ours is copy written. That applies to Chris Roseborough too. There will be legal action if photos are not down.” [Source]
MacKenzie observes:
“Where is the LOVE? The audacity to threaten me because my blog post exposes the non-biblical practices of Christalignment. BUT… HOLD THE PHONE… THERE IS NO ARTICLE… NEVER HAS BEEN… but there is now:–)” [Source]
Jen Hodge has stated that, “they have breached copyright. And they know it. They have already had to take down many of our pictures or they face a court case. Do you think that is a Christian thing to do – to hack peoples private videos and pictures? Really? I call it sin.”
In relation to Jen and Ken Hodge ‘legally’ threatening Christians, in the video linked above, Ben Fitzgerald said the following:
“There’s also a Christian woman who worked with my mom in Melbourne. And my mom gave her private material that she then sent to these American bloggers- or whoever they are, or whatever they do. Private material. And the woman worked for Christalignment, my mom’s ministry, which goes and reaches those into the New Age. And after doing that, she got that private material, sent it to the U.S, and now the U.S- uh, not the U.S, sorry- but these bloggers in the U.S and printing all this stuff against my mom.”
Discerning Christians have every right to expose Ben Fitzgerald and the Hodges for threatening ‘legal action’ against those who are sharing this information (despite the ‘fair use’ rule in copyright law) – because they are concerned for those who may fall for their deceptive practices and bullying tactics. Unfortunately, the behaviour of Ben Fitzgerald and the Hodges legally bullying people has caused some stress to individuals. If practicing witchcraft by (grave-sucking) Ben and his parents Jen & Ken Hodge is not an abomination and shameful in itself, their legal threats are another sign they have not heeded Paul’s condemnation to the church in Corinthians:
“I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourselves wrong and defraud—even your own brothers!” 1 Cor 6:5-8
REFUTING FALSE LEGAL THREATS.
If Ben and the Hodges use social media to promote their work, then others on-sharing their images to report on issues falls under the laws of ‘fair use’. No one has hacked anyone – information was gathered by discerning believers before the Hodge’ pulled their videos, images or changed their websites.
Ben Fitzgerald became really angry with discerning Christians for judging his family for their practicing witchcraft, even though calling out the Hodges was biblical. And as Ben Fitzgerald stated, he didn’t want these Christians exhorting his parents to turn from their occultism. In the same video, Ben had the audacity to claim Christians just need ‘to love’ while he talks about an ‘insider’ who supposedly leaked ‘private information’ about Christalignment.
However this ‘leaking private information’ claim is not true. You can see the Christalignment brochure and the another document the’ insider’ put up here:
This is how ‘private’ this information actually was. Firstly, the Christlalignment brochure can be accessed by anyone at Christalignment booths (see bottom right corner on images):
Ken and Jen Hodge even uploaded this brochure information on their Facebook:
Secondly, the love language document we put up is accessable to anyone who accesses the Hodge’s Prophetic Evangelism Training workshops.
So how is this information private?
What’s become very apparent is the information from that brochure has been plagiarized by the Hodges from Dr Gary Chapman’s book ‘The 5 Love Languages’. Snippets of his writings are repeated around their site. For instance, we look at this article from Chapman to see what Jen and Ken Hodge have ‘stolen’ to put in their tarot ‘5 Love Languages explained’ document that they distribute in their workshops. (Yellow highlight shows the information they plagiarised from Chapman.)
It appears that Jen and Ken Hodge also charge a fee for their ‘evangslism’ workshops. Here is one of many instance where they charge attendees at “Prophetic Evangelism Training” events where people are taught to use ‘outreach tools’. (‘Prophetic Evangelism’ is the word they use to teach Christians to use their tarot card practices (‘outreach tools’) to engage non-Christians.)
So not only do these folk think they have the right to legally threaten Christians, they are quite prepared to make an untrue assumption about a Christalignment ‘insider’ – while they profit from Gary Chapman’s work which they themselves have plagiarised.
And Bethel continues to defend the Hodges occultic practices and their ‘legal’ threatening of critics around the world.
Jordan Hall also weighed into the hypocrisy of Ben Fitzgerald’s ‘micro-judging’ rubbish. He rightly calls out how fake Ben Fitzgerald’s love is and their ‘legal’ threats.

Podcast: Steven Anderson Joins Us to Take James White’s Orthodoxy Test
On this episode of Polemics Report, Steven Anderson briefly joins to program to take James White’s orthodoxy test by which he Whitewashed Michael Brown. Anderson passes with flying colors, and then JD goes on to explain why you shouldn’t endorse Steven Anderson anyway. Hopefully, some people will learn their lesson.
Then, JD discusses the SBC promoting a Papist as a “Gospel preacher,” and then moves on to the “sheep beating” of Ben Fitzgerald and Greg Locke. JD review Greg Locke’s recent sermon and demonstrates what appears to be plagiarism, and then Locke yelling out the name of a church member who had criticized him, calling them names and telling others he’ll shout out and shame them from the pulpit as well.

Further update January 30, 2018:
Ben Fitzgerald continues to claim his parents and their ‘ministry’ Christalignment, have come under ‘heavy attack’. We will let our readers decide for themselves as to the biblical validity and claims of this New Age ‘ministry’ who, if the numbers are to be believed, have now led a further 20,000 to the gates of hell. His latest Instagram post:
‘Recently my Mum and Dad came under pretty heavy attack for their full time ministry to the new age. There were threats of destroying our whole family, accusations that she was a witch and even well meaning believers were caught up in the swell of it and turned on her without asking a question. I’ve rarely seen my Mom break down and cry, and honesty I was furious at this, but even in that our heart is to only love back, not defend. After all this happened Mum and Dad went out the the bush with 20,000 people who are searching into anything and everything for love. They didn’t start writing blogs, they went to lost ones, that is Jesus. I am so thankful for my family, I bet the man in this picture is too. I’d rather follow them any day then some keyboard cowboy who’s never jumped on the front Lines. This isn’t nepotism, you have a proud son because your example is worthy of that’
