Christalignment ‘legally’ threaten discerning Christians – caught profiting from plagiarism.

Jordan Hall from Pulpit & Pen recently critiqued a video Bethel pastor Ben Fitzgerald uploaded to Facebook, where Fitzgerald accuses Christians of ‘micro-judging’. Not only did Fitzgerald condemn those for calling his mother a ‘witch’ (even though by biblical definition what she practices is witchcraft), he also accuses someone of passing on information about his family’s occultic practices to discernment sites. As a result of this, his family are now threatening Christians with ‘legal action’.

The video that Jordan Hall reviewed can be seen in this article here:

Bethel pastor has a FITzgerald about his mother’s occultism being exposed.

LEGALLY THREATENING CHRISTIANS.

Holly Pivec recently wrote,

“Does Bethel know that legal action has been threatened against site owners, including myself, who have shared photos of the Christalignment cards and photos of their teams doing “readings” with the cards — despite the fact that this sharing of the photos falls under the fair use rule in copyright law?” [Source]

We were aware of this taking place very early on and would encourage people who have tried to warn the body of Christ about these charlatans, to come forward if they have had legal threats made against them.

Dave MacKenzie from the Glory Gathering site was one of those ‘legally threatened’ by the Hodges:

Dave published the threat Jen Hodge made against both he and Chris Rosebrough:

“Every photo you have used of ours is copy written. That applies to Chris Roseborough too. There will be legal action if photos are not down.” [Source]

MacKenzie observes:

Where is the LOVE? The audacity to threaten me because my blog post exposes the non-biblical practices of ChristalignmentBUT… HOLD THE PHONE… THERE IS NO ARTICLE… NEVER HAS BEEN but there is now:)[Source]

Jen Hodge has stated that, “they have breached copyright. And they know it. They have already had to take down many of our pictures or they face a court case. Do you think that is a Christian thing to do – to hack peoples private videos and pictures? Really? I call it sin.”

In relation to Jen and Ken Hodge ‘legally’ threatening Christians, in the video linked above, Ben Fitzgerald said the following:

“There’s also a Christian woman who worked with my mom in Melbourne. And my mom gave her private material that she then sent to these American bloggers- or whoever they are, or whatever they do. Private material. And the woman worked for Christalignment, my mom’s ministry, which goes and reaches those into the New Age. And after doing that, she got that private material, sent it to the U.S, and now the U.S- uh, not the U.S, sorry- but these bloggers in the U.S and printing all this stuff against my mom.”

Discerning Christians have every right to expose Ben Fitzgerald and the Hodges for threatening ‘legal action’ against those who are sharing this information (despite the ‘fair use’ rule in copyright law) – because they are concerned for those who may fall for their deceptive practices and bullying tactics. Unfortunately, the behaviour of Ben Fitzgerald and the Hodges legally bullying people has caused some stress to individuals. If practicing witchcraft by (grave-sucking) Ben and his parents Jen & Ken Hodge is not an abomination and shameful in itself, their legal threats are another sign they have not heeded Paul’s condemnation to the church in Corinthians:

“I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourselves wrong and defraud—even your own brothers!” 1 Cor 6:5-8

REFUTING FALSE LEGAL THREATS.

If Ben and the Hodges use social media to promote their work, then others on-sharing their images to report on issues falls under the laws of ‘fair use’. No one has hacked anyone – information was gathered by discerning believers before the Hodge’ pulled their videos, images or changed their websites.

Ben Fitzgerald became really angry with discerning Christians for judging his family for their practicing witchcraft, even though calling out the Hodges was biblical. And as Ben Fitzgerald stated, he didn’t want these Christians exhorting his parents to turn from their occultism. In the same video, Ben had the audacity to claim Christians just need ‘to love’ while he talks about an ‘insider’ who supposedly leaked ‘private information’ about Christalignment.

However this ‘leaking private information’ claim is not true. You can see the Christalignment brochure and the another document the’ insider’ put up here:

Bethel endorsing occultists in ‘sheep’s clothing’ – insight given by an insider from Christalignment.

This is how ‘private’ this information actually was. Firstly, the Christlalignment brochure can be accessed by anyone at Christalignment booths (see bottom right corner on images):

Ken and Jen Hodge even uploaded this brochure information on their Facebook:

Secondly, the love language document we put up is accessable to anyone who accesses the Hodge’s Prophetic Evangelism Training workshops.

Jen Hodge Christaligment page workshop tarot cards

So how is this information private?

What’s become very apparent is the information from that brochure has been plagiarized by the Hodges from Dr Gary Chapman’s book ‘The 5 Love Languages’. Snippets of his writings are repeated around their site. For instance, we look at this article from Chapman to see what Jen and Ken Hodge have ‘stolen’ to put in their tarot ‘5 Love Languages explained’ document that they distribute in their workshops. (Yellow highlight shows the information they plagiarised from Chapman.)

Jen Hodge Christaligment page plagiarised tarot cards

It appears that Jen and Ken Hodge also charge a fee for their ‘evangslism’ workshops. Here is one of many instance where they charge attendees at “Prophetic Evangelism Training” events where people are taught to use ‘outreach tools’. (‘Prophetic Evangelism’ is the word they use to teach Christians to use their tarot card practices (‘outreach tools’) to engage non-Christians.)

So not only do these folk think they have the right to legally threaten Christians, they are quite prepared to make an untrue assumption about a Christalignment ‘insider’ – while they profit from Gary Chapman’s work which they themselves have plagiarised.

And Bethel continues to defend the Hodges occultic practices and their ‘legal’ threatening of critics around the world.

Jordan Hall also weighed into the hypocrisy of Ben Fitzgerald’s ‘micro-judging’ rubbish. He rightly calls out how fake Ben Fitzgerald’s love is and their ‘legal’ threats.

Podcast: Steven Anderson Joins Us to Take James White’s Orthodoxy Test

On this episode of Polemics Report, Steven Anderson briefly joins to program to take James White’s orthodoxy test by which he Whitewashed Michael Brown. Anderson passes with flying colors, and then JD goes on to explain why you shouldn’t endorse Steven Anderson anyway. Hopefully, some people will learn their lesson.

Then, JD discusses the SBC promoting a Papist as a “Gospel preacher,” and then moves on to the “sheep beating” of Ben Fitzgerald and Greg Locke. JD review Greg Locke’s recent sermon and demonstrates what appears to be plagiarism, and then Locke yelling out the name of a church member who had criticized him, calling them names and telling others he’ll shout out and shame them from the pulpit as well.

As always, you can listen at Bible Thumping Wingnut or click to listen below.

TRANSCRIPT

JD Hall – Polemics Report 18 Jan 2018 – Ben Fitzgerald
(35:30 – 43:37)
Jordan Hall: “We’re going to talk about ‘sheep beating’ today. Is that cool with everybody? We’re going to talk about ‘sheep beating’.
Okay, this is from Ben Fitzgerald. Now discernment is a spiritual gift. The discerning of spirits, and I think I can demonstrate from the Epistles of John that when he says that, he doesn’t mean ‘demon radar’. He means discerning of doctrine. And when we ‘test the spirits’, we’re testing what is being taught.
If someone has been given that spiritual gift, do you beat them? We’re going to listen to a couple of pastors, spiritual leaders that beat people with discernment. And the first one is Ben Fitzgerald of Bethel Church, he’s a Missionary for Bethel. And it’s his mom, Jen Hodge that was doing the, and may still be for all I know, the Christalignment Tarot Cards. And he’s mad, he’s mad people are talking about his mom.”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “Hello family, friends around the world. Merry Christmas, what an amazing time of year this is. And ah, I’m excited to speak to you today…. I will do this final statement about the judgment that is happening, it’s just absolutely ridiculous and crazy.”
Jordan Hall: “It’s ridiculous and crazy judgement. If you have a problem with ‘Christian tarot cards’, you’re ridiculous and crazy, nuts! I think the ‘Christian tarot card’ is nuts, did you see the topless dancing?  We posted that. It’s his group, it’s his mom. They had like a ‘spirit dance’ and there’s topless woman dancing, um it was edited. I think you can thank Steve Kozar for that, thank you for editing that so we don’t have to use eye bleach. So if you think that’s bad, your judgment, you’re judging, and that judgment’s bad.”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “I just need to speak into it, because I’ve had enough of it. And seeing the stuff I’m seeing in the last two weeks, it’s just enough is enough. And so, if you’re a believer and you’re watching this, even if you’re a non-Christian and you’re watching this, you could learn from what I’m about to say. Because we need to be, the Bible really commands us to walk like Jesus, which means we need to walk in love. And when we don’t have love, we have nothing. And so this week, the last two weeks actually, my whole family has been under attack, severely.”
Jordan Hall: “I don’t think anyone has literally attacked them. They have said, ‘stop doing stupid stuff’.
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “It opened my eyes to something that I didn’t realize was so severe in the body of God. So I just felt like I really needed to talk about it to you guys quickly.”
Jordan Hall: “The discernment is severe.”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “So for those who may not know, there was a big accusation that went around the world now. So far around the world that it started getting to Christian radio stations, and all sorts of craziness. People doing YouTube blogs, all sorts of stupid stuff about my family. And the thing they were doing the most, is they were attacking them saying, ‘your family is witches, they do tarot cards’. I’ve received personal messages from people, actually this is not the first time…”
Jordan Hall: “By the way, you’re welcome! That was us and Pirate Christian, the discernment community.”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “Anyway, we take it as a joy and a blessing, to be counted among people who are being attacked. We shouldn’t become defensive, we shouldn’t become people who fight back. That’s not what I’m saying, but what I am saying is…”
Jordan Hall: “Now they have threatened to sue and mitigate. They’ve threatened to ‘stick it to the people’ who sent us screen shots and things like that. Now it’s all public, like from public Facebook posts and so forth. But they have been pressuring the poor Australian people for sending us stuff. They’re mean, they’re the bullies. We just report the truth and you’re mad about it…”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “I’m not saying every time its right, I’m just saying our whole concept is quick judgments, quick media judgments and its like ‘click bait’. And when we have this ‘click bait’ stuff on the internet, we become professional judges. So every single day of our lives…”
Jordan Hall: “He’s judging me.”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “Like 20 years ago this was not the way. Now every single day of our lives, often for hours at a time, everything we see online…”
Jordan Hall: “By the way, sometimes it’s just best to ask people, ‘are you saying its wrong to judge?’ Try answering that and not being a hypocrite.”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “We see it, we judge it, we judge it, we have to. Because we have to find out what’s true and what’s not true. But the problem with that is, we judge based on ‘micro information’, not holistic pictures, not a holistic world view….”
Jordan Hall: “Alright, I think I missed the part, where did it go?”
Ben Fitzgerald audio: “People doing You Tube blogs, all sorts of stupid stuff about my family.”
Jordan Hall: “Stupid stuff?”
(Jordan searches for missed audio)
Jordan Hall: “Alright, so he says at one point, ‘do you think I would really support witches?’ ‘I wouldn’t support witchcraft’. ‘I wouldn’t do that’. Um, I think maybe that you would. There’s a post over at Church Watch Central. Com… endorsing demonic grave sucking.
Now, Michael Brown says, ‘I don’t know nothing about no ‘grave sucking’. And Bill Johnson like, ‘yeah, we have nothing to do with that.’
Now, we have pictures, actually Church Watch Central does. Of Bethel people, Bethel pastors, Bethel missionaries, Bethel students sucking from graves. That’s where you go to a grave and you try to like suck the ‘Spiritism’ off of the prophetic person. You try to get the ‘prophetic mantel’, like from the coffin, then you put it on. Like Smiths Wigglesworth and Hagen and so forth.
And there was one person, one Bethel pastor kind of at the centre of this. Now you will have to go and see this at Church Watch Central, I can’t play it for you… But thank you God, literally, that there are screen shots. And do you know who’s at the centre of the Bethel grave sucking? Now this post was put up in July of this year, long before the tarot card Christalignment thing. Who do you think the Bethel person was doing the grave sucking?”
Ben Fitzgerald. That guy. ‘Do you think I would support witches and witchcraft?’ YES YOU DID, YOU GRAVE SUCKING SUCKER! Look at it right there, that’s you! It’s literally him doing the grave sucking!
‘Would I really support witches? This is crazy, the criticism is crazy, it’s nuts, so stupid. Stupid people’…”

Further update January 30, 2018:

Ben Fitzgerald continues to claim his parents and their ‘ministry’ Christalignment, have come under ‘heavy attack’.  We will let our readers decide for themselves as to the biblical validity and claims of this New Age ‘ministry’ who, if the numbers are to be believed, have now led a further 20,000 to the gates of hell. His latest Instagram post:

‘Recently my Mum and Dad came under pretty heavy attack for their full time ministry to the new age. There were threats of destroying our whole family, accusations that she was a witch and even well meaning believers were caught up in the swell of it and turned on her without asking a question. I’ve rarely seen my Mom break down and cry, and honesty I was furious at this, but even in that our heart is to only love back, not defend. After all this happened Mum and Dad went out the the bush with 20,000 people who are searching into anything and everything for love. They didn’t start writing blogs, they went to lost ones, that is Jesus. I am so thankful for my family, I bet the man in this picture is too. I’d rather follow them any day then some keyboard cowboy who’s never jumped on the front Lines. This isn’t nepotism, you have a proud son because your example is worthy of that’

Recently my Mum and Dad came under pretty heavy attack for their full time ministry to the new age.
