We recently covered the stories of C3 not reporting pedophilia to appropriate authorities and also attempting to cover it up.
And recently Tony Abbot and Mike Baird made appearance at Phil Pringle’s C3 Presence Conference.
“It’s good to be part of tonight’s event, which is celebrating Sydney and supporting some of our city’s great community organizations. Tonight, some 75,000 dollars has been given to worthy causes like the “Kids Helpline” and the “Humpty Dumpty Foundation” and in this centenary of ANZAC your support of “Homes for Heroes” is a timely reminder of the sacrifices made by our war veterans and their families and their on-going needs long after they have returned from the battlefield.
Your generosity is living out the Christian mission to be the “Light of the World” and to be that shining city on a hill that welcomes everyone. So at the end of your Conference I send you all my very best wishes. I send my best wishes to all the members of the Christian City Churches right across Australia, including that remarkable church of yours that is just outside my electorate at Oxford Falls.
I wish you every success, and trust that you’ve had a great Conference.”
Our government may be ignorant about the conduct of Phil Pringle and C3.
And we say this because Tony Abbott appeared to support ‘Royal Commission inquiry into child sex abuse’:
Mr Abbott made clear that support for an inquiry would only be given if it did not focus on just one organisation. He effectively said he would not back a royal commission which looked only at the Catholic Church. He said in a statement that “if the government were to propose a royal commission to investigate the sexual abuse of children, it is something the Coalition would be prepared to support”. “Any investigation must be wide-ranging, must consider any evidence of the abuse of children in Australia, and should not be limited to the examination of any one institution,” he said. “It must include all organisations, government and non-government, where there is evidence of sexual abuse.”
By Malcolm Farr, Tony Abbott supports royal commission into child sex abuse, The Australian, http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/child-abuse-inquiry-needed-sooner-rather-than-later/story-e6frg6n6-1226515004476, Published 12/11/2015. (Accessed 21/04/2015.)
So, given the circumstances, would the Australian Prime Minister have endorsed Phil Pringle and his C3 Movement, had he known?
