While Jesus teaches Christians to “love thy neighbour,” “Pastor” A.R Vernon from The Word Church dropped a pinkle, teaching his church to touch their neighbour and say “F- you.” We wish we were making that up.
A few years ago, Vernon decided to launch this foul word gimmick in the midst of his sermon.

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out why people are leaving Christianity. There is a very good reason why people consider it to be a joke when fraudsters treat the pastoral office with such disrespect. This is not funny. This is juvenile and depraved behaviour. To defend such direspcetful men such as A.R.Vernon (who are making a mockery of the pastoral office) and his immoral word-gimmicks is a reflection on the juvenilization of the church.
It is these men that need to be silenced and removed from fellowship – not critics.
The scriptures clearly identify that deceivers and false teachers use clever but empty words to deceive people:
“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.” 2 Peter 2:1-2
“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.” Ephesians 5:6
“For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach.” Titus 1:10-11
“If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.” 1 Timothy 6:3-5
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.” Ephesians 4:11-14
Clearly A.R. Vernon shows all the marks of a fraudster. Such disrespect of the pastoral office, juvenile antics and word gimmicks should prove without a shadow of a doubt that this man is a con artist and should be rightly defrocked ministry.
