THE ORIGINS OF THE MCU RITE OF PASSAGE
It is only through the New Apostolic Reformation that it was possible for the Mysti-Chicks Uprising cult to be birthed. This is because in the NAR’s infancy, people were claiming to see or have encounters with Jesus to make the claim he was sending them out to complete new tasks. Good examples of this are such figures as TL Osborne, Roberts Liardon and John Avanzini. And because the word Apostle means “sent one”, other false teachers in the NAR claimed that they were sent by God, such as William Branham, Frank Houston and Phil Pringle. Often in their own words, these people claimed they were following or responding to the “call” of God on their lives.

The New Apostolic Reformation cult preach a false Jesus, false gospel and New Age metaphysical teachings and strategies in an attempt to bring heaven to earth.
Because of this subjective encounter (and because the NAR strongly believe that women can be apostles), it was only a matter of time before women started to claim that they were called into ministry.
THE NATURE OF THE MCU RITE OF PASSAGE
Criminal
Women who reject the institutes laid down by Christ for His church, not only reject the teachings of our Law-giver, they make Jesus and His Apostles out to be liars when the bible specifically states in scripture that women are not to teach.
However, there is one type of person Jesus hates throughout human history.
False prophets.
Listen to YHWH in the Old Testament in regards to false prophets in Jeremiah 23:
“Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD. They say continually to those who despise the word of the LORD, ‘It shall be well with you’; and to everyone who stubbornly follows his own heart, they say, ‘No disaster shall come upon you.’
For who among them has stood in the council of the LORD to see and to hear his word, or who has paid attention to his word and listened?” Jeremiah 23:16-17 (Emphasis added.)
And,
“I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my council, then they would have proclaimed my words to my people, and they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their deeds.” Jeremiah 23:21-22 (Emphasis added.)
It is important to notice the animosity God has towards such people,
“I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart, who think to make my people forget my name by their dreams that they tell one another, even as their fathers forgot my name for Baal? Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat? declares the LORD. Is not my word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, declares the LORD, who steal my words from one another. Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the LORD, who use their tongues and declare, ‘declares the LORD.’ Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the LORD, and who tell them and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when I did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:25-22 (Emphasis added.)
This is the exact same animosity we see Christ reveal to false prophets in Matthew 7:
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves… “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” Matthew 7:15, 21-23
Usurpation
If you want to understand what Jesus will call the false prophets at his judgment seat, it would be akin to say “you criminals.” That is what a worker of lawlessness is. And according to Jesus Christ, that is exactly what these women are – criminals. They reject Christ’s Word – the Law Giver’s commandments in their vain pursuits to illegally lead people in His name. In the Old Testament, they would have been stoned to death for usurping God and His Word. In the New Testament, they would be excommunicated from the church for usurping God and His Word.

The Mysti-Chicks Uprising cult preach a false Jesus, false gospel and peddle mystical/humanistic/feminist teachings to empower/liberate women into ministry.
Just like Satan tried to usurp Adam’s headship in the garden, these women are attempting to usurp the headship of Christ in His church – which is why Jesus claims they are his enemies. (For more information on the MCU, read The Mysti-Chicks Uprising: Why the MCU is a threat to Christianity.)
God has set his face against these women. Jesus isn’t saying “I don’t know you” on the basis of a close and personal relationship He has with them. It is the equivalent of the animosity and hostility Jesus had against them in Jeremiah, “Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams.” The Law Giver is refusing to be associated with those who present him as a liar but claim to know him – and for good reason.
EXAMPLE – JOYCE MEYER
One such woman is Joyce Meyer. She is one of the most wicked today, insighting rebellion/apostasy in the church by encouraging women to directly oppose Jesus and His church by unbiblically usurping the pastoral office. You will notice in the attached excerpt from her book the ‘Battlefield of the Mind’ how she used her “calling” to justify her unbiblcal ministry. What’s even more interesting is the NAR language and ideas she used to overthrow the teaching of the Holy Spirit so she can feel good about practicing godlessness.
Take note that the Holy Spirit teaches us and that He is the one that BINDS our MINDS. So what Joyce Meyer is essentially doing in the excerpt below is associating the Holy Spirit to the demonic.
“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.” 2 Corinthians 10:5-6
And it makes sense. In her rebellion, Meyer does not want to hear from God but justify her apostate ministry:
“I once reached a place in my walk with God where I was having a hard time believing certain things that I had previously believed. I didn’t understand what was wrong with me, and as a result, I got confused. The longer predicament went on, the more confused I became. The unbelief seemed to be growing by leaps and bounds. I began to question my call; I thought I was losing the vision God had given me for the ministry. I was miserable (unbelief always produces misery).”
So what did Joyce Meyer do? Who among the Mysti-Chicks Uprising “has stood in the council of the LORD to see and to hear his word, or who has paid attention to his word and listened?” Doesn’t Joyce Meyer know that faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God? Did she consider going to the scripture when facing unbelief?
No. Instead she writes,
“Two days in a row I heard this phrase coming up out of my spirit: “mind-binding spirits.” The first day I didn’t think much about it. However, the second day, as I began a time of intercession, I heard it again for about the fourth or fifth time: “mind-binding spirits.”
I knew from all the people to whom I had ministered that multitudes of believers have trouble with their minds. I thought the Holy Spirit was leading me to pray for the Body of Christ against a spirit called “Mind Binding.” So I began to pray and come against mind-binding spirits in Jesus’ name. After only a couple of minutes of praying, I felt a tremendous deliverance come to my own mind. It was quite dramatic.”

Intercessory prayer is straight out of the NAR “cesspool”. You will notice how she later claims that the “Holy Spirit was leading me to pray for the Body of Christ against a spirit called “Mind Binding”.” Only an Apostle in the NAR operates like that. And this is EXACTLY what she is parading herself to be practicing by engaging in NAR “strategic level spiritual warfare” (SLSW). You will not find any teaching on “mind-binding spirits” and a spirit called “Mind Binding” in the bible. However, the NAR will teach that in SLSW practices, the spirit must be identified so it can be exorcised.
But in this small amount of text, notice who Joyce Meyer is usurping – Christ:
“Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” Romans 8:34
Joyce Meyer claims the Holy Spirit was leading her to intercede for the entire body of Christ.
However God teaches us that not only Christ intercedes on our behalf for his Church, the Holy Spirit does as well – when we are weak:
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans 8:26-7
The fact that Joyce Meyer has an entire chapter dedicated to her Holy Spirit inspired revelation of mind-binding spirits should send warning signs to every believer. For her to usurp not only God’s Word but two thirds of the trinity to present herself as some divine intercessor on the church’s behalf is simply criminal.
CONCLUSION
Joyce Meyer was honest enough to talk how she was doubting her calling into ministry. That would actually be the Holy Spirit convicting her which she attributed to the demonic. Rather than stand in the council of God’s Word, she rejected it and embraced another voice instead, one that justified her illegal ministry. Rather than submit herself to God’s ordinances, she arrogantly claims she is directly called and led by the Holy Spirit. The best picture of this in the bible is the Eve with Satan. Eve did not stand in God’s council. She stood in Satan’s. She believed the liar. And by accepting the call of Satan, she usurped her husband.
This is the rite of passage of the MCU. To question their calling is to question the “lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies” who “stubbornly follows [their] own heart.” They can’t stand in God’s council to correct you. They stand in the deceit of their own heart and use every other means necessary to lay the claim why the Christian is powerless, evil and wrong in questioning their authority.
