Phil Pringle endorsed Kenneth Copeland in his book ‘You The Leader’.

In a recent “Inside Edition” program, investigative correspondent Lisa Guerro exposes the true demonic nature of Kenneth Copeland – a wicked man ‘endorsed’ by Phil Pringle.

“Televangelist Kenneth Copeland enjoys a life of luxury. He has his own airport next to his mansion in Newark, Texas, where he keeps his private jets. When Inside Edition’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero caught up with him in Branson, Missouri, he spoke to her at length about his lifestyle and why he says the jets are important to his ministry. “If I flew commercial, I’d have to stop 65% of what I’m doing,” he said. Guerrero asked him about a previous comment he made saying he doesn’t fly commercial because he doesn’t “want to get into a tube with a bunch of demons.” “Do you really believe that human beings are demons?” she asked. “No, I do not and don’t you ever say I did,” Copeland responded as he pointed his finger at her.”

However, just as false teachers continue to deceive their followers, they have no problem deceiving the secular world – as reported by Pulpit & Pen and Church Watch Central back in 2015, he did say it.

In light of this, what do we do when well-known leaders in modern church movements today lack the courage to distance themselves from this ‘lunatic fringe’? A prime example is Phil Pringle, founder and Senior Pastor of C3 Church Global. In his book ‘You The Leader’, Phil Pringle considers Copeland not only a brother but a prophet as well, and defends Copeland’s ministry against more discerning preachers.

“When a particular teaching comes forth, it is just as foolish to automatically denounce it simply because it differs from what we have been accustomed to. When Kenneth Copeland began preaching on prosperity, it seemed out of balance to many. Maybe it was, but few prophetic messages come forth as balanced thoughts. God often has to push the pendulum to the opposite side to get us back in balance. However, for whatever reasons, a lot of preachers took up arms against Copeland and began preaching against his message.” – Phil Pringle, You The Leader, 2005, pg 140. (Link)

Pringle also says ‘Brother Copeland’ has spoken in his church twice.

“I have a simple philosophy of “rolling with the punches.” This takes the heat out of a lot of the punches we take. I simply rolled with what a lot of others thought was a threat to the local church. In fact we had Brother Copeland come twice and preach in our church. We’ve only been blessed by the message. If there are any extremes, we as leaders are able to address them and graciously bring whatever balance we feel is needed. However, we need to be careful that we don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.” – Phil Pringle, You The Leader, 2005, pg 141. (Link)

May we remind our readers that Phil Pringle still promotes his book ‘You The Leader’ to this day. By not distancing himself from Kenneth Copeland, Pringle exposes his followers to a greedy man, a greedy man-centered gospel and not the true Christ-centered Gospel.

“As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,  thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:17-19
