Online bible platform BibleGateway, has removed the New Apostolic Reformation ‘bible’ known as ‘The Passion Translation’ (TPT).
This is great news for bible-believing churches, Christian ministries and bible study groups. However, this is a giant slap in the face for the New Apostolic Reformation cult and its false teachers. (Click here to learn about the New Apostolic Reformation.)

Very glad to learn that Bible Gateway removed the dangerous Passion Translation of the Bible from its site. But the translator, Brian Simmons, is not happy about that, as you can see in his Facebook post below. Brian Simmons Refuses To Hear Correction
Why would Bible Gateway remove Brian Simmons the Passion Translation from its online sources? The only real answer is Bible Gateway has examined the Passion Translation Bible and found it not to be an actual Bible translation. Let’s look just for a moment what Brian Simmons did in the Passion Translation. Simmons took the Liberty to change thousands of Scriptures by adding or subtracting thousands of words to the original text. In this way Brian Simmons became a personal arbitrator of what was true or not true with each Scripture. In adding or taking away thousands of words Simmons “rewrote the Bible” according to Simmons unique form of Dominion Theology.
Why did Simmons rewrite the Bible, the only answer could be Simmons believed the other Bible translations did not adequately reflect his philosophical view of the Bible. In effect Brian Simmons wrote the Passion Translation to become the official Bible of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) which has drifted away from the Bible as the final source of authority. Instead the NAR, places a higher value upon subjective revelations which they deem is the “prophetic ministry.” Virtually every recognizable apostle of the NAR praised the Passion Translation as their Bible and hearty endorsed its translation without any protest or concern thousands of Scriptures had be rewritten altering their true meaning.
Should this be alarming to any Christian let alone Charismatics? What is the problem with Brian Simmons and the apostles of the NAR? Let’s be frank, when they are confronted with being deceived they act super spiritual as if the others aren’t just as spiritual as them.
What is Simmons response from the Passion Translation Bible being removed from Bible Gateway? Simmons attributes this action to the “cancel culture!” Simmons actually believes anyone outside the NAR which questions the “rewriting of the Scriptures,” is a personal attack upon him. Instead of understanding the “judgment is upon the rewriting of the Bible” into an unreliable translation, Simmons believe the translation is from God and he is being attacked. Of course Simmons version of Jesus Christ needs to be greatly alarmed.
As Brian Simmons says Jesus commissioned him to rewrite the Bible when Jesus took Simmons into the Library of Heaven. In heaven Jesus showed Simmons a chapter of the Bible which no other man in history has ever been privileged to see, John chapter 22. Of course there is only 21 chapters in the book of John which has never been changed in almost 2000 years since it has been written. However, Simmons insists Jesus in heaven promised him another chapter of the Bible which would release more mysteries to the end time Charismatics world wide Church takeover.
Does anyone in the NAR question Brian Simmons vision of Jesus is actually Satanic in nature. That Satan played Simmons with elitist pride to rewrite the Scriptures creating a false translation filled with doctrines of demons? The reason the NAR can’t discern angels of light who imitate the presence of God, is they actually teach the Bible is not set, instead new light of subjective revelations on Scripture are being given to them as modern day apostles. Which puts them on equal par with men God used to write the Bible like the apostle Paul, and the apostle John. I guess Simmons wanted to prove this philosophy and gave the NAR all the evidence they needed, when Simmons said Jesus took him into heaven and commissioned him to rewrite the Bible into “a more contemporary NAR” version of apostolic world wide Church take over theology.
In case you don’t understand how deep the corruption of Scriptures runs in the life of Brian Simmons, let’s consider how Simmons views the book of Revelation. Simmons actually believes the book of Revelation has nothing to do with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Instead Simmons writes in his Bible footnotes, the Book of Revelation is nothing more than the spiritual battle in the lives of believers, and is a “typology of the interior battles of the soul.” Simmons NAR dominion theology does not allow for a Catastrophic ending to this age, as the NAR church must make the Kingdom of Heaven on earth before Jesus Christ can return. In effect Simmons must write out of the Scriptures which speaks of a world ending in Catastrophic judgments, and is not made Christian by the NAR Charismatics. No wonder Simmons needs his own version of the Bible to write this insanity.

As mentioned by Don Pirozok, it is worth stressing how many NAR cults do in fact promote Brian Simmons’ abominable translation. Simmons himself recently shared a leading NAR leader Jenn Johnson, Bethel, using his translation. Even in this small snippet, it’s clear how the language in his ‘translation’ is heavily influenced by NAR theological terms (‘greater increase’, ‘weighty glory’):

This will make Passion Translation even more famous for Jesus! Brian Simmons my heart hurts to hear this 
and can only imagine what its like after so much hard work to get this much controversy. But its ok, Jesus was controversial mostly for the Pharasees, not the actual people who were changed my the Gospel. May these false accusations be overturned in the name of Jesus and we see major testimonies come from this small setback!

For decades, false apostles like Brian Simmons have not been afraid to malign the reputations of faithful pastors and ministries by elevating their own divine revelations above God’s Word. Because these false teachers have no biblical authority or integrity to justify their practices, ungodly means have been used to cancel biblically valid voices.
Biblical scholars are in the position to state why people like Brian Simmons are wrong and can back up their claims with documented evidence and biblical rebuttals. However, men like Simmons don’t have scripture on their side to justify their heresies. This is why false doctrines like ‘touch not Gods anointed’ and ‘culture of honour’ heresies are used to try and cancel valid biblical voices.
Such men and women who engage in this ‘cancel culture’ by invoking God’s wrath on those that question their authority include Bill Johson, Todd White, Randy Clark, Cindy Jacobs, Frank and Brian Houston, Mike Bickle, Bob Jones, Rick Joyner, David Yonggi Cho, Phil Pringle, Kong Hee, TD Jakes, Paula White, Benn Hinn, etc. If this is not an example of Brian Simmon’s posse creating ‘cancel culture’, we don’t know what is:
With no biblical grounds to justify its validity, he has created a ‘cancel culture’ by creating his own version of the bible. So it’s ironic that an NAR apostolic father of ‘cancel culture’ (before it became a thing), is now claiming ‘cancel culture’ as the reason why his Passion Translation was ‘cancelled’. By holding Brian Simmons up to true biblical scrutiny, he is certainly in no position to complain when his self-proclaimed divine ‘revelations’ are ‘cancelled’.

A timely reminder of what Brian Simmons previously admitted about his knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew and what he said on how God helped him write the TPT:
Jonathan: “When you started this project, um, were you, had you already had training in Greek and Hebrew? Or was this something that you had to jump into again? Or..? [14:40]
Simmons: “I had minimal background in biblical languages, so yeah, it was something that, honestly, something the Lord has really helped me with.” [15:05]
In an interview with Sid Roth, Brian Simmons went into even more detail how bizarre his methods were in to producing his Passion Translation. This is how he was ‘advertised’ for the interview by Sid Roth:

Brian Simmons was translated to the library of heaven where he saw more books than you can imagine. One stood out called John 22. It told about the greatest revival the world is yet to see!
At the 30:20 mark, this is what Simmons said how Jesus comissioned him, breathed on him and gave him “secrets of the bible that would be for this last day’s awakening.” The fact Simmons is summoning Christ like this to stamp his work as being more revelatory in line with NAR endtimes heresy only highlights how much of a dangerous lunatic Simmons actually is. This is as fanatically dangerous as it gets:
Sid Roth: Also in 2009, Jesus enters the room you’re in and gives you an assignment. Tell me what that was.
Brian Simmons: What a wonderful night that was. Again, I was in my room and the presence of the Lord became
tangible. Heavy. Thick. So powerful, that I slipped out of bed and knelt there by my bed and the ‘one I love’ [Jesus] came and commissioned me.
He says, ‘I’m commissioning you to do this translation project’.
And he [Jesus] breathed on me. Just blew his breath upon me. I’ll never forget that experience. And he promised me that- that he would give me help. That he would stand with me and give me secrets of the Hebrew language. Secrets of the Bible that would be for this last day’s awakening. And that was the beginning of the Passion translation project.
Sid Roth: Did he tell you the name of the Bible?
Brian Simmons: No, he didn’t. He just-
Sid Roth: So where did you come up with the word passion translation?
Brian Simmons: Well, years ago, I saw an angel named Passion in our church meeting. And the Lord spoke to me
not- not audibly but internally and said, ‘That angel is with your ministry. It’s the Angel of Passion’.
Sid Roth: Now, I am so intrigued with this- this Bible that you’ve done, The Passion Translation’ and Jesus
said He would give you secrets from the Hebrew language and downloads as you were doing
this. Did you see that?
Brian Simmons: Oh, my! I see that regularly. As I’m translating the Bible and seeing the- the original text and the
secrets that are hidden there. In – in Luke four, says that, ‘Jesus that taught in the synagogues and everybody glorified him’. But in the Aramaic text, (which was the language of Jesus), ‘Jesus taught in the synagogues and offered
everyone glory’.

Note: The ‘One I love’ reference is Simmons making the allusion that he is like Apostle John (the one Christ loved) and the action of Jesus breathing on Simmons is an allusion to Jesus breathing on his Apostles to be inspired to write the scriptures.
