CWC have written in the past how this fraudulent prophetic group was founded by Apostle Kathryn Ruonala.
The Australian Prophetic Council (website archived here) is a full blown globalist, nationalist-driven, ‘prophetic’ group that’s all about advancing the New Apostolic Reformation in Australia and the Pacific. They claim, “We are a company of seasoned and recognised national prophetic voices in Australia” and “The Australian Prophetic Council is a relational group of nationally recognised prophetic leaders.”
What is the “Australian Prophetic Council”?
The defunct APC website has ‘Apostle’ Katherine saying the following about the ‘prophetic’ AND ‘apostolic’ leaders on their council:

From time to time prophetic words have spread through the Australian church that produce reactions of fear and panic in the hearts of many believers. Australia can then start to receive the “prophet’s reward” that comes from recognising Australian prophets with confidence.
By interacting with national prayer groups and initiatives, it is the hope of the APC that respected prophetic words will be declared, proclaimed and circulated, producing hope and vision for the nation.
The APC is made up of prophetic voices that already have some level of national or international recognition and influence as well as of apostles, national prayer leaders and emerging prophetic voices. While we acknowledge that there are no doubt other significant prophets in the nation, the APC has begun with those with whom we are relationally connected. Who is Roma Waterman… and why does Alphacrusis graduate prophetic shams?
Roma Waterman lives in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, as a self-promoting prophet and director of Heartsong Prophetic Alliance and Sounds of the Nations Oceania. A few years ago, this false prophet broadcasted her ‘Graduate Certificate in Arts’ and stated the following:
Last year I completed a grad certificate of arts, this year I’ll complete a grad diploma of theology and then next year I’ll start my Masters of Spirituality.
It’s been challenging but also incredibly rewarding. I didn’t know if I was cut out for rigourous study. Didn’t know if I was smart enough tbh!This was a question I asked myself before I started on this journey, and sometimes I circle it again when an assignment is due!
Some of my friends asked me when I started this journey why I wanted to study when I was already doing what I love. This is why: One day I was thinking about all our beautiful students and the privelage it is to invest into their lives. I want to be a better teacher.
I want to know things not just because Holy Spirit reveals it, but also because I understand the nuances hidden in the Bible. I wanted the word of God to give up its jewels- the ones that are only discovered by digging deep. The ones that are not found so readily, the ones that take time and effort to discover.
I want to be challenged by books and hear other points of view. I want to know how to critically evaluate and research. It’s another way I can serve students- to always be learning myself. I hope that in doing so people will be able to trust not just my motives and personal experience of Jesus, but trust the weightiness of the words that I speak.
In those moments when I feel challenged by the rigours of study, I say to myself “I don’t really need to do this, why am I putting myself under so much pressure?” And then I remember the beautiful community I get to serve and I remind myself this is such an honor and a way I can honor them.
I have so much to learn, but I’m determined to be on a life long quest to study so that I can be a better teacher. Ok….back to the books!

THE WOMBAT PROPHECY -THE PROPHETIC VOICE IN AUSTRALIA IS RISING
This may just be the strangest prophetic dream I have ever had, but also one that I feel is very significant for the Australian prophetic voice right now.
A few nights ago, I had a dream of a wombat leaning on my car by the wheel, burrowing itself into the ground.
When I woke, I heard the Lord say, “The wombat represents the Aussie prophets – burrowing and going deep; many don’t see them, they don’t make a lot of noise, but they are going deep to dwell. They are a different breed!”
THE SPOTLIGHT IS ON AUSTRALIA
As I continued to pray, I saw a spotlight over the earth, highlighting different nations; I saw someone move the spotlight to highlight Australia.
There is something fresh the Lord wants to do amongst our churches, and we have a huge part to play in unveiling this. I believe that the Lord has his eye keenly on Australia and that the Australian prophetic voice is in the spotlight in a more significant measure right now to build up the body and reveal the kingdom. I don’t need to be a prophet to discern this, and this is something that many people recognize in this hour. Still, I do feel an urgency for those of us who are Australians to become aware of this in greater measure and that the revelation of this will allow us to speak up with greater spiritual authority.
As I journaled this dream, I did a study on wombats, and here are some of the things I discovered:
GO DEEP!
They burrow deep – The Lord says, “The Aussie prophets know how to dig deep to mine the treasures I have for them. When others dig the topsoil, they go deep until they find the rich deep soil where the nutrients are – this is where real growth can occur”.
YOU ARE TOUGHER THAN YOU THINK!
Their hide is thick – in fact, it’s a form of protection because nothing can penetrate it! The Lord says, “You are stronger than you think; when you speak up, you will be protected, nothing will harm you – so step out with boldness!”
DIGEST THE WORD!
They have a slow metabolism – it takes them a long time to digest their food. The Lord says, “The Aussie prophets eat the word but digest it slowly; they take their time and allow the word of God to nourish their body for the long term – they are not interested in a quick fast-food fix.”
I WILL POSITION AND REPOSITION AND IT WILL TAKE OTHERS BY SUPRISE
They are unassuming. They are not pretty, like the kookaburra or the kangaroo – but they can suddenly arrive without anyone noticing because they don’t draw attention to themselves. The Lord says, “While many look for the seemingly ‘pretty’ things in the next move of God, I will position you in such a way that you will be at the right place at the right time. You will take people by surprise because I am the one who will position and reposition”.
NO ONE CAN BOX YOU!
Ok, this is a weird one 🙂 – wombats have square-shaped droppings. I said to the Lord, “Lord, please don’t make me share this one!”, but I am being faithful to what He said to me. He said, “This represents that YOU CAN’T PUT A SQUARE PEG IN A ROUND HOLE. My Aussie prophets don’t fit the mould. They look different to the rest of the prophetic voices globally, and that’s just the way I like it”. No one can box you, so don’t box yourself. Be a unique imitator of Christ, and don’t try to be what you think a prophet should look like! You cannot be boxed!”
BE LIKE THE WOMBAT!
I also heard the Lord say, “Everyone wants to be like the kookaburra or the kangaroo because they symbolize beauty and strength; they are the emblems of Australia. But I am saying – ‘be like a wombat’! Do not try to fit the mould! Go deep, be strong, spend time in the word, and don’t chase the trappings of what a successful ministry looks like.”.
And the Lord says: “I am calling you to something much deeper; you are not to look like other international ministries. You must be uniquely you, and that will cause a ripple effect across the globe. My prophetic people, you have not missed the mark by being different and carrying a different expression. You are not behind the rest of the world – you have not failed! The voice of the Aussie prophets is rising according to my timing and rhythm, carrying my imprint on their unique voice!”

PROPHETIC DREAM OF THE NEW WINESKIN
Roma Waterman
A few weeks ago, I had a dream I was wearing an old business suit. It was baggy and didn’t fit right. The Lord was standing in the room with me, so I questioned him about this. As I did, he pointed at me, and the suit immediately tightened to completely fit my body like a second skin.
However, initially, this tightening was too tight… it felt painful, so I asked the Lord: “What is this? What is going on? This feels uncomfortable and too tight!”
I began to move around. As I did, this new outfit began to expand to fit my shape. But it didn’t become baggy like before; rather, it fit perfectly.
The Lord then said to me: “This suit represents my new wineskin. At first, it will feel uncomfortable, but as you walk in it, it will fit just right and become more comfortable”.
I believe the Lord was revealing four things in this dream:
IT IS NO LONGER BUSINESS AS USUAL
The business suit I was wearing didn’t work on my body any more. Same with Christ’s body – we don’t need outdated metrics, paradigms, branding and numbers to build His church! He is doing something new!
A MOMENT OF RESTRICTION BEFORE A NEW SEASON OF EXPANSION
Old wineskins will burst with new wine poured into them because, in the process of new wine fermenting, the old skin is incapable of holding in the gasses -or rather, the transformation of the new wine. However, when new wine is poured into new wineskins, the skin will eventually EXPAND to adapt to the aging of the wine.
There is a season of expansion as the new wine emerges. We are in a season where the Lord is enlarging us, and sometimes it will feel like we don’t fit in. In this season, it would be easy to run from this, but if we trust the process of expansion, and try not to get too overwhelmed by growth, eventually, we will adapt and fit into the new thing the Lord is doing.
IT IS TIME TO MOVE
The new transition, although greatly desired, may also be uncomfortable, but it will only be for a moment. You may feel in a current season where finances are tight, or family or work is restricted, and you can’t move forward. But the key to the expansion in my dream was movement. I hear the Lord saying: “Keep moving! The restriction is not for failure or wrongdoing but for refining and becoming comfortable in the new”!
IT IS BOTH NEW…AND OLD
When we talk about new wineskins, we often think God is doing away with the old completely. But the new wineskin embraces the good things of what has come before, yet reshapes and remoulds it to fit the new shape of the body. It does away with the unnecessary fabric of the past that is now in excess – the things maybe, as a church, we added that God didn’t ask us to. IT BECOMES A HYBRID OF LEGACY, ANOINTING AND FRESH FIRE.
True kingdom living is one of apostolic legacy and honour. We can look back and carry forward powerful anointings and mantles of the past but wear them in a new way for a new era.
This also means no matter what age you are; the new wine is ready and waiting for you! You can be fresh in every season when you are willing to move and shift as God asks, and do not remain in old thinking and mindsets!
Lord, we say we are ready! And we will move with you!
