We as Christians should be able to trust the Bible Society. But unfortunately their ongoing support for well known false teachers and and their movements should give the body of Christ great cause for concern.
The LiveLoveLead Society versus the bible-wielding Tanya Levin over the mole’s Hillsong
This year marks the 500th year of the Protestant Reformation. For the past year we were anticipating that these organisations and movements would take full advantage of this opportunity to captilise on the Reformation, Martin Luther and the bible being produced for the common man.
The Bible Society has stumbled by yet again partnering with Hillsong and in their “stumbling” will cause others to stumble.
Romans 16:7 “I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.”
We are clearly told in Scripture that it is unacceptable to be spiritually united with those who hold to false doctrines and aberrant theology.
The Bible Society writes,
We’re celebrating the Bible in 2017 and on Sunday March 5th a very special event will take place in partnership with Hillsong and live streamed in churches across the nation. Key speakers include Anglican Archbishop Glenn Davies and Hillsong’s Brian Houston, with more announcements to be made prior to the event.
