Did you know Todd Bentley is a New Breed?
Most people are unaware that New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) leaders genuinely believe that little ‘gods’ actually walk the earth. We already have given examples of Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton trying to teach people to tap into their divine natures and encouraging them to walk as ‘little Gods’ or glorified ‘Christs’.
This is because Apostles in the NAR follow a commission (as explained by Rick Joyner) known as the ‘Apostolic Commission’. This secret commission is given to Apostles in order to raise up a ‘New Breed’ of Christians. If you want to know why the ‘glory’ or ‘supernatural school’ started appearing in churches around the world, this is because leaders of these ‘churches’ are trying to raise up a spiritually supremacist race to lead the end-time Joel’s army church.
However, the NAR use a a range of words and phrases to talk about these types of ‘New Breed’ Christians. This theology goes by many names such as Manifest Sons of God, Kings kids, Sons of Thunder/Zebedee, Manchild/Joseph Company, etc.
In 1948, the New Order of the Latter Rain (NOLR) was birthed. Back then, the NOLR promoted “the manifested sons of God” heresy. The man who heavily influenced this movement with his New Age leanings in the supernatural was William Branham.
A key figure that emerged from this anti-Christian movement was false prophet Paul Cain. Cain was made famous through the Prophetic/Apostolic Movement (PAM) in the 1980s, specifically through Mike Bickle’s Kansas City Fellowship. His fame continued to influence ministers and ministries up to 2004.
In 2008, the NAR started promoting that the New Breed are here among us now. In actual human flesh.
Little ‘Gods’ in human flesh.
In 2008, Todd Bentley pulled Paul Cain onto the platform at Lakeland, Florida. By this time at Lakeland, Bentley made it known he operated under the ‘Branham anointing’ and ministered alongside Branham’s angel called the ‘Winds of Change’. (This angel was referred to by both Bentley and Branham as the Voice of Healing and the Angel of the Lord.)
In front of Cain, Bentley mentioned how Cain knew Branham and that he “traveled with the greatest healing evangelist of the late forties and fifties”. This is important because Cain calls on the “prophesied/new breed”.
Who claimed Paul Cain was a New Breed? None other than Todd Bentley himself. Hear for yourself:

“I thank you that you’ve answered my prayer that you’ll let me live to see tokens of this revival and be involved in it in someway. And be a participant if possible. And Lord, you’ve never allowed me to say that I have met the ‘New Breed’. UH– [I] ABSOLUTELY met The ‘New Breed’! […] I’m giving it to my brother tonight to carry on this revival until the stadiums all over the world have been catching this and have been carriers of it and taking it from one end of the world to the other. And thank you that I met the ‘New Breed’ here tonight and I appreciate it in Jesus name.”

Todd Bentley knows full-well what this means. He knows that by being called a ‘New Breed’, he was being called a ‘little god’. A little ‘Jesus’, in fact.
If you don’t believe us, here is Todd Bentley with Bob Jones on the 8th of August, 2008 (stated in the video blurb). Bentley allows false prophet Bob Jones to explain what (it appears) the New Breed actually is:

“The New Breed is just simply the Body of Christ rolled up. What he’s doing now is bringing you to a level of maturity when you grow up. And if you grow up you’ll never regress, you’ll continue progress year by year. So what he’s talking about is the New Breed is this: it’s Romans 1:4, The Spirit of Holiness. So for years I’ve tried to get understanding what the Spirit of Holiness is, for it’s different than the Holy Spirit.
So last Saturday he spoke to me about a New Breed of people, and he said, “I don’t want you to get in front of them, I want you to get behind them.” And it’ll be between the, uh, close to the ages 25 to 40. And there’s very few prophecies out there about people that’s between 25 to 40 but this is who the New Breed is.
So I began to, in this trance I went into at 3 o’clock last Saturday, I could ask questions. I began to ask questions.
What is this New Breed? The New Breed will be those that are the partaker of the divine nature. As you begin to grow into the likeness of Christ, you’re going to begin to partake of the divine nature. And unless you begin to grow up in that away, you’ll continue to mature until you look like Christ all over the world. Jesus was one person. Now get ready for Jesuses all over the world.”
