The Dominion Gospel – the demonic gospel of the New Apostolic Reformation.

The ‘Dominion Gospel’ has many names – and it’s C. Peter Wagner who deserves the credit for articulating this false ‘gospel’ that most in the New Apostolic Reformation believe, preach and practice to this day. Enjoy this resource and share it.

REALLY? THE NAR GET THEIR DOMINION GOSPEL FROM SATAN?

C. Peter Wagner, among others, has sadly done a brilliant job of articulating and capturing the theology of the ‘full gospel’, the ‘healing gospel, ‘gospel of the kingdom’ and ‘power gospel’ of the New Apostolic Reformation. This is the same gospel that Michael Brown preaches, especially at the time of his revival meetings in Brownsville  when he called it the ‘healing gospel’.

This unbiblical narrative has had many names and peculiar theological bends over the decades – but at the end of the day it’s about ‘advancing the kingdom of God’. Whether it was by misusing Isaiah to teach ‘by his stripes we are healed’ to teach healing is in the atonement, or slandering the Holy Spirit, misusing His purpose to construct manmade revivals, the emphasis is still on manifesting the power of God ‘here on earth as it is in heaven’. It always defaults back to ‘dominion’ and ‘advancing the kingdom’.

One could assume that, after examining hundreds of resources trying to find ‘good’ examples, C. Peter Wagner was able to formulate the ‘Dominion Gospel’ of the NAR, including it in many of his works, with examples clearly outlined in his book ‘Dominion!’. It’s ironic that not only does he preach the ‘Dominion Gospel’, he manages to place the extra-biblical commission of the ‘Seven Mountain Mandate’ in it quite comfortably.

Fortunately we have found a clip from C. Peter Wagner that not only clearly frames the Dominion Gospel, he also articulates its theology on dominion, their Christ and their theologies on the kingdom of God and the ‘kingdom of satan’ succinctly.

Before watching, it is important to note that C. Peter Wagner is not the only one who got his dominion gospel and theology from Satan.

We’ve heard this teaching multiple times from C3, Hillsong and Bethel just to name a few and recently acquired this video. CWC now have this video available as a resource for people to see who is the real ‘spiritual father’ of the NAR, someone who promises the body of Christ the kingdoms of this world. Keep in mind, this is the same gospel that teaches you can speak to your circumstances i.e. Satan tempting Jesus to turn stones to bread, ‘let go and let God’ or step off the boat so our supernatural testimonies can win the lost. Note how Wagner frames the dominion gospel message and how in reality Wagner underestimated satan’s craftiness.

Rule number one: Never get your theology from Satan. He is a liar, the father of lies, and his Dominion Gospel is a lie.

TRANSCRIPT

“Let’s not underestimate Satan. I know a lot of people when, I when I talk about this, a lot of people, (some of you as well who are watching this video), are thinking, ‘You know, we should not talk about that much about Satan’. In fact I’ve had some preachers preach, ‘We should not say anything about Satan’. And uh, they kind of- some people scold me that I’m talking this much about Satan.

But I tell you what, those who are scolding me forget, the first rule of warfare is to know your enemy. If you don’t know your enemy, your enemy is going to defeat you. And uh, so I believe that we should know our enemy.

I mean, take a look for example- we all know this but maybe you hadn’t thought of it: Jesus’ third temptation. Remember he got taken up to a high mountain and Satan says to Jesus, (I’m paraphrasing now), he shows Jesus all the kingdoms of this world. That’s what it says.

How many? [Audience: All]

All. Not just ninety percent. He shows all the kingdoms of this world and he says, ‘Jesus, if you only worship me, I’ll give you all these kingdoms and their glory’.

Says so right in the bible.

‘kay. Now the outcome of the temptation, we know that that Jesus did not yield. But that’s not my main point.

Jesus never questioned Satan‘s right to offer him the kingdoms. Why? Because Satan had dominion. Where did he get it? He got it in the Garden of Eden from Adam’s choice to give his and our Dominion away. So, Satan, actually at this point the world wasn’t turning out the way God originally planned. Because God didn’t plan for Satan to take over dominion. His plan was for Adam to have dominion but Satan- says Adam was a free moral agent. (Don’t forget. That was the key. I told you I would be repeating that a lot.) Um. Satan was able to do that.
