Michael Brown now showing his true (anti-Christian) colors?

It is time we apply Occam’s Razor to Michael Brown. Frankly, his defense of paganism in the church needs to stop:

Applying Occam’s Razor to Evangelicalism

We are dealing with a man who is quite prepared to twist the teachings of God, distort the truth and defend heretics, but then show a very bizarre aptitude to handle scripture accurately when it comes to defending interests that suit him (i.e. selling his books in their churches). This is NOT the fruit of a Christian at all. And this is not a fabricated accusation against Michael Brown. The facts are there for all to see that we are dealing with a very dangerous man in the body of Christ.

SPOTTING A FRAUD

It’s time for the body of Christ to call for him to explain his unbiblical defense of false teachers who peddle the demonic in Christ’s name.

Dr Brown makes a mockery of the gospel.

The link above has Brown explicitly claim he wants Christians to “love one another as He loved us” and in the same breath claim Christians “attack and demean and insult and even demonize one another on social media”. Men like Brown have been using facades like this for centuries. They parade the fruits of the spirit like “love” and “peace” or dangle ideologies above the heads of Christians (like unity, utopia, etc) but refuse to deal with issues that Christ heralds as essential to the Christian faith. Things like DOCTRINE and TRUTH.

Here, Michael Brown FAILS to see how unregenerate behavior fits this category of a false teacher. When pagan practices are CLEARLY presented to him through the Bethel NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) cult, Michael Brown insists on attacking Christians on social media.

It staggers belief that men like Dr James White put up with such men like Brown.

Our strong words come as a result to a recent exchange Michael Brown had with a Christian who took offense of Bethel’s pagan practice of brainwashing a child to embrace NAR methods of “hearing” from God.

This stuff isn’t even close to being Christian. It’s how to channel a ‘familiar spirit’ in a few easy steps. This is FORBIDDEN by God and Bart McCurdy rightly expressed his concerns to Michael Brown. “If so, where in the Bible down we see this? Why isn’t she reading the #Bible?” But what was Michael Brown’s ‘loving’ response to McCurdy? He was nice enough to take a swipe at Calvinists (who would not DARE practice what Valotton  is promoting) and goes on to say,

“I don’t know you, but tweeting me about this in this way discredits you more than those you criticize.”

“I don’t know you?” So that’s the way Brown handles a concern from a Christian brother? “I don’t know you.”

Everyone has the right to feel bemused by this hypocritical and disdainful response Michael Brown had towards a Christian brother. The question is – who is prepared to follow through with the instruction of their Lord Jesus Christ to “expel the wicked from among them?”

Who is prepared to publicly call out Brown for his ongoing endorsement of false teachers?

Brown claims to believe the Bible is God’s Word. He claims it’s God’s divinely inspired, inerrant message to us. Yet despite this, his biblical illiteracy is overwhelmingly obvious!

And why is Dr James White putting up with such illiteracy from Michael Brown?

(The Apostle Paul would have no problem doing so and would encourage the church to do likewise.)

Below is the exchange between the more discerning Christian and Brown,

@DrMichaelLBrown are you OK with this? If so, where in the Bible down we see this? Why isn’t she reading the #Bible? #BethelRedding

@BartMcCurdy Tell you what, Bart. When you send me 100 critiques of kids into Calvinism, then send me another Bethel critique, OK?

@DrMichaelLBrown there’s a logic fallacy in there, I think. If I saw some, I’d be just as concerned, but this is beyond anything I’ve seen.

@BartMcCurdy I don’t know you, but tweeting me about this in this way discredits you more than those you criticize. 2/2 (my last comment)

@BartMcCurdy But PLEASE don’t send me criticisms of other charismatics for me to respond to. (This is really my last tweet on this.) Thanks!

@BartMcCurdy If you want to grow in the things of the Spirit, dive into the Word & seek God earnestly. And if my writings can help, great.

@BartMcCurdy Again, I don’t know you, and I really can’t discuss this further here, but you have no idea how you make yourself look.

@BartMcCurdy No, all I saw was a picture. But either way, if you have a question for Bethel, send it to them, not to me. OK?

  1. speaking of Brown, I tweeted a question to him

calling him out for not denouncing the NAR, yet going after the Emergents on the left

(which lets be honest, the NAR and the Emergent left are basically the same except for a few political issues

i.e. both want to promote new-age teachings in the church
