Does Dr. Michael Brown’s conclusion confirm he has seen and agrees with the evidence Church Watch Central provided?

As reported in previous articles, Dr. Michael Brown recently had Jenny Hodge from ‘Christalignment’ on his program, ‘Line Of Fire’, discussing her use of ‘christian tarot cards’. Unfortunately the interview backfired spectacularly not just for Jenny Hodge but for Dr. Brown’s reputation as well.

After the interview, this was Dr. Brown’s conclusion:

“I appreciate Jenny Hodge coming on my show today, and my goal was to understand her practices and beliefs. Having spoken with her, I don’t question her sincerity or her desire to see people come to Jesus and be saved. But I do NOT agree with or endorse the practices used, specifically stones and cards and readings.”

What makes this statement incredible is his acknowledgment of Jenny Hodge’s use of “stones” in her readings. This can only mean one thing:

Did Michael Brown gain this knowledge about Jen Hodge’s ministry based on Church Watch Central’s published evidence?

Was #Iknownothing Dr.Brown being truthful with his claims of knowing very little about ‘Christalignment?’ This point was not lost on Michael Brown’s guest, Jenny Hodge. She responded:

“Dr Michael Brown. We came onto your programme in good faith but now you have introduced a lie that we use stones based on a video Church Watch Central made or published – the very same people who have made hundreds of videos against practically everything you say and write about and this is ironic. It proves how rumours that are not true get spread. You asked Bill Johnson on your show; Does Bethel do gravesucking? He said : “no” and you believed him as he was telling the truth. Yet on your show today we said we do not use tarot and now we are telling you and indeed the whole christian world: we do not, nor have we ever used stones. So how do you answer to that ? We do address colour but not stones.”

When Pulpit & Pen first published the story about Christalignment, editors at CWC started collecting as much information about ‘Christalignment’ as possible, before Jenny Hodge started tampering or removing evidence that could be used against her. By the time she pulled down (or hid) a damning video of her staff engaging in stone/crystal practices in harmony with their tarot card practices, CWC downloaded and published it in an article back in 2017 titled, Bethel’s house of cards; tarot-rists leading people to Baal/Jezebel by practicing occultism in God’s name‘. In our article, CWC demonstrated that Christalignment are using agate, a New Age stone/crystal that:

  1. “Helps to connect with entities in the spiritual worlds,”
  2. “one of the stones used in the breastplate of the high priest to relieve sickness and
  3. can further assist one in the development of precision in examination of oneself and of circumstances relevant to ones well-being.

Jenny Hodge has stated on Facebook that they use stones “as an evangelising tool in the New Age prophetically.” However Hodge had already stated that their ‘ministry’ is all about people:

  1. Having an ‘encounter’ with the ‘Christ Spirit’.
  2. Experience healing.
  3. Used cards to articulate one’s past, present and future (they call this ‘Word of Knowledge’) to assisst in the development of one’s wellbeing.

Is it a coincidence that the ‘agate’ stone used for ‘evangelism’ enhances the very same outcome New Agers believe and seek after? Again here is the video taken from the Christalignment FB page where they are using stones with their readings:

Back in 2017, this is what Jen Hodge had up on her website:

“Colour cards can be used in several different ways. Team member Nan uses them to enhance her reading with coloured agate stones.” [Source]

Now they have removed this statement. However, their use of stones is still on their site to this date (February 20, 2020) on the ‘What it looks like’ page in their picture gallery:

To this day (21/02/2020) Jenny Hodge still has the following up on Facebook :

“Had a fabulous day getting the stones from heaven ready for Psychic Expo in July. Very prophetic – with deep meaning.

Carol, they represent the 12 stones that are eternal – that is they are found in the wall in the city – book Revelation. They are real stones & have profound meanings. We use these as an evangelising tool in the New Age prophetically. But we have seen stones that have fallen from heaven to here. God sends all colours & all manner of stones. He loves them & the colours have significant meaning, should you ever receive one.”

Jenny Hodge reasonably concluded that Dr. Brown got this evidence from Church Watch Central and blasted Dr. Brown on his Facebook page. However her disclaimer, “We don’t use stones !!!” is clearly evident with the examples above. The conversation below between Joe Light and Jen Hodge appeared briefly AskDrBrown’s Facebook wall below his non-endorsement comment.

It’s also is worth noting that Jenny Hodge engaged in a bizarre rant, claiming that Church Watch Central are “Calvinists” who hate “Michael Brown” and Bethel. While some writers for CWC are Calvinists, most are not. Hodge also bizarrely claimed that ‘Christalignment’ has taken CWC to court – again not true. CWC would be happy for ‘Christaignment’ to provide evidence or legal document of such a thing having happened!

The following conversation was later deleted from AskDrBrown’s FB wall:

The following discussion was also deleted from AskDrBrown’s FB wall:

Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

“Awake, O sleeper,
    and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:7-17
