Since the airing of the investigative report on the secular TV program ‘A Current Affair’ last Monday–Tuesday, C3 Church Oxford Falls did little more than post a quite short media response that really didn’t address the valid questions raised on the program.
What ACA clearly drew their viewers’ attention to Monday night, was reporter Sacha Passi putting forward a well-documented case against Phil Pringle, senior leader of the C3 Church Global movement, focusing on the ‘money for miracles’ aspect of the church.
And wrapping up with the second part of their investigation into C3 Church and Phil Pringle on Tuesday – ACA then gave viewers just ‘a glimpse into several stories that exposed the lack of biblical integrity in dealing with hurting ex-C3 members. And it was very obvious that given the time allotted to such an important story, many of the issues touched on by ‘A Current Affair’ were not given the scrutiny they deserved – for example Kong Hee and his relationship with Phil Pringle, Pringle’s culpability in that relationship and a more in-depth look at the way Pringle tried to get the C3 congregation to support Kong Hee’s financial difficulties by helping cover his legal expenses.’
A reminder, back in 2013 C3 Oxford Falls made sure no one could tune into their services because they “were receiving bad press and wanted the church to get online on twitter and facebook and say good things.” This was because Pringle was asking the congregation to help financially support Kong Hee in paying his legal fees. Phil Pringle also suggested that members not visit ‘websites’ in case this generated ‘more doubts, more uncertainties in people’.
Moved: What Is Phil Pringle Trying To Hide? *Update 3* (03-07-2013)
Which brings us to the C3 Oxford Falls October 6, 2019 morning service livestream, where after their’praise and worship’ session, a six minute media blackout interrupted their normal livestream.
And we have to ask the question – will there be a further media blackout at their 6pm evening service? And the answer is – yes! The following clip demonstrates exactly what happened at the 6pm service:
“I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me I will walk with integrity of heart within my house; I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil.” Psalm 101:1-4
C3 pastor James Edwards came online after a 6 minute media blackout:
It’s clear that Phil Pringle is receiving a standing ovation from the crowd. Chris Pringle is noticeably absent, as she is over in the States preparing to preach at C3 Los Angeles Sunday morning service – (final tweaks to tomorrow’s message @c3losangelesWestside with @josephphilippringle@christine.j.pringle @jakesweetman@nicolesweetman … excited to share this message #LEGACY 🙏😘🇺🇸🔑 10:30am4100Irvingplace Culver City)
James Edwards states:
“We love you Pastor Phil. We really do. We’re with you. We are so grateful for you and Pastor Chris. We would not have any of this without your faith, your boldness your courage, we love you Pastor Chris we love you Pastor Phil. And we also love all of you and just want to thank you again for your strength, courage and all of you connect leaders. Listen you’ve got any question or queries talk to your group leader, they’ll be more than happy to pray with you through this, and stay strong. Be brave. God’s with us, the future is so bright it’s ridiculous, absolutely I’m telling you it’s amazing.”
“We love you Pastor Phil. We really do. We’re with you. We are so grateful for you and Pastor Chris.”
Grateful for what, Mr Edwards? Lying to you? Covering up scandals and abuse? Grateful for ongoing false teaching and false prophecies?
“We would not have any of this without your faith, your boldness your courage, we love you Pastor Chris we love you Pastor Phil.”
What do you mean by ‘this’, James? The secular media uncovering your pastor’s heresy by comparing his false teaching to the words of Christ? That indicates that the media inadvertently displayed more scriptural integrity than your senior pastor.
“And we also love all of you…”
This is called ‘love bombing’. Who cares about the facts – making everyone ‘feel loved’ does not excuse the scandals, sexual abuses and cover-up within the C3 movement.
“… and just want to thank you again for your strength, courage and all of you connect leaders.”
Notice what they are not thanking them for – integrity.
“…Listen you’ve got any question or queries talk to your group leader, they’ll be more than happy to pray with you through this, and stay strong. Be brave. God’s with us, the future is so bright it’s ridiculous, absolutely I’m telling you it’s amazing.”
It’s already obvious, given feedback by some loyal C3 members, C3 pastors and noted Hillsong leader, Brian Houston, that they see Phil and Chris Pringle as ‘victims’ of the ‘A Current Affair’ investigation, that this is a precursor of the ‘great things’ God will be doing through the C3 movement. As declared below, Pat Antcliff ‘can say without a shadow of a doubt, that Pastor Phil and Chris are the real deal’.
A sad statement indeed, given the many times, over many years, others have addressed the false teaching of both Phil Pringle and Chris Pringle.
Pat Antcliff states:
As always, we leave some scriptures that speak clearly to those who bring shame to the cause of Christ:
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:1-4
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” Matthew 7:21-23
